Could someone tell me what H&b is please
    Not Buying it 2015!
  • Hiya katierose, H&B is just an abbreviation for Health and Beauty, the health and beauty vouchers that are currently in tescos stores whereby people can use multiples of vouchers and save lots of money.

*it appears though that Tescos may have cottoned on and several stores are now saying only one voucher per transaction

    i admire u!!
    really i do!!

k, well i'm completely new to all this - and seriously want to reduce my tesco's grocery bill!

so....where do i start? where can i get the H&B vouchers?
and then....how do i use them? (i dont mean simply handing them over doh)
and how do you figure out what to buy to make the vouchers really worthwhile?

btw i live in birmingham, so if anyone knows of any Tesco's where all this stuff can be done - pls let me know thanks

  • Hiya fmhm  the health and beauty vouchers can be found in Tesco stores although they are like gold-dust. If you purchase £10 worth of toiletries, and use a £2.50 off a £10 spend, and 2 x £1 vouchers, once the bogof kicks in on the toiletries you are only handing over 50p cash; which is why this promotion is so popular.

If you read the threads on these boards you will soon learn what to do and the best combinations.

For example if you buy the nestle 8 packs of mini cereals priced 98p on them are £1.00 worth of vouchers so you are 2p in profit ! Also check out the newspaper thread daily, we've had a good run of vouchers on there too.

    All the best Welshy x

Bought £149.XX worth of shopping today (including 3 books, new baby card, outfit for new baby, 3 items cookware), had £18.XX worth of multibuys/bogofs/etc, used £17 worth of coupons and then got an R&R of £4.97. Got 678 points!

    So not a bad trip!
  • Just returned from Tescos, shopped wisely today and from a total of £139 - after bogofs it came to £119, it was further reduced by vouchers to £79 which was fab as I had bought lots of store cupboard items and a few xmas presents in the health and beauty ranges. (This was also my weekly shop for our family of 6)

My best bargain was the 12 pack pouches of Go cat cat food they are a discontinued line and were £2.80 odd down to just 59p a box !!!!! super I thought so I bought 12 boxes of them so my 3 cats are sorted for a while.

I also gained 600 points as a few of my clubcard point vouchers expired tomorrow.

The daz I bought had a voucher inside as did the nestle 8 packs of cereals so I have increased my voucher stocks too.

  • I know it's not supermarket but I am proud of it :j

Just spent £250.91 on Boots.com and for £35.95 worth of points. Pretty pleased with that. I did howevere have to use 2 seperate 1000 free points codes as you can only use 1 code per order
  • TESCO Today -
    Sub-Total: £28.59
    Total To Pay: £9.74
    Points earned: 283

    I used:
    £5 off sainsbury clothing
    £2 off Harpers Bazaar x2
25p off cereal (the mini box ones :D)
    One lot of toiletries coupons.

Very happy with this as I was buying things like oil and washing up liquid for a neighbour, who will pay me full price for them! so my groceries, £22 or so worth, will cost me £4ish and I got my points!
They say you can't put a value on life... but I live it at half price!
