My 2 local Tescos accept quick read vouchers and I know that Asda HO have confirmed that they can accept them too. My 3rd local Tescos however does not accept quick reads.

SPL wrote:Hi Guys
In response to the original post since I started recording (sad I know but it pleasese me) the coupons I have used against my shopping today i have reached the grand total of £1,000
I am soooo pleased as for everyone that jokes with me about my use of coupons I can now say (and indeed have been saying) "well that £1000 is enough for a holiday or a months mortgage" - it soon makes people think
The saving has been over 18 months - i look forward to the next bumper coupon haul!!!0 -
I may seem dumb, but what are quick read vouchers, and where do you get them from?0

I don't know what they are either??0

I like my voucher usage but even I will limit the amount I hand over, every time I search on ebay for money off vouchers it appears to be a quick read listing !

Hi .... :hello: I haven't been on as much for the last couple of weeks and have also been looking at other boards on here. I am loving the OS board at the moment.
I think a lot of Tesco are stopping accepting the quick reads which is why people are putting them on ebay.
Gutted about the new policy at that Tesco  Somebody has spoilt it for the rest of us, but for themselves also! Apparently the ONLY thing they bought were the vouchers and they kept going back to the same till for more!0 -

I may well start to record myself, although dp already thinks I have a psychological problem regarding money saving - not that he complains when it comes to the money I do save, mind..... I think I might even consider putting away the money saved in a separate account so we can have that holiday (or maybe that would be pathological?)
No, not pathological at all! I keep a spreadsheet and all of my receipts!
It's lovely totting them all up and seeing how much you have saved the household!0 -

I've used quote a lot of these without question but have had a refusal in one store a while ago (I went to a supervisor by mistake, silly silly voucher hunter / user).
Then this in another store this week!
My local Tesco Express has always accepted them.0 -

Hi,
I just put in the amount it should have been in one column, then the amount I actually spent and from that I work out the actual amount saved and percentage amount saved.
I put in the date and supermarket also, so if I am feeling really anal I can work out how much saving by each supermarket over a period of time ....
Now should I have admitted that?:embarasse0
