  • I still have a couple of hundred of the Quick Read Vouchers still!
  • if you dont need them you can send them to me.
  • Today, I went to my fav store, bought toothbrushes, shower gel, heinz baked beans (4 tins for 99p), flowers for my office and 4 packs of BBQ Doritos. Sub total was £29.10, then multibuys took £10.90 off, total to pay £18.20. I used some of the toiletry vouchers and a quick read plus love it etc and reduced the bill to just £4.60 and gaining 268 points.

Then, just as I got to the car park, checked my receipt and the Doritos discount had not come off - total refunded for them was £4.32

My shop today came to just twenty-eight pence !!!

No till spills on this card today but was delighted with my bargains

  • Hi, please does anyone know if the Superdrug £5.00 Olay vouchers scan in Asda, Waitrose or Sainsbury? - I see from a previous post they don't scan in Tescos. Many thanks - you guys are an inspiration, until I read this thread I thought you had to buy the product - dread to think how much 'money' I have put in the recycling bin! Also, big thanks re the Good Housekeeping/Coast coupons - I can use these in Waitrose which is my nearest supermarket. Also - sorry if too many questions - do the coupons from the Somerfield free magazine scan anywhere else? - thanks very much again.

I had been having a brilliant run of using vouchers getting 10% off my shopping each time and on one occasion 33%. I have even stocked up on vouchers bought 5 good housekeepings etc. I am always careful not to use Sainsbury vouchers and only hand over 1 of each type of voucher but today 2 different cashiers in a Tesco Extra refused to take any vouchers the manager has told them all not to unless you buy he product. I am gutted. Hope they relax again soon.

Hi Startedsaving, yes, the vouchers scan in those three stores, depends on the assistant if they take them. Our Waitrose now only takes 3 coupons per shop, but at £5 each that is not bad!

    Good luck!
  • Many thanks - will give it a go in Waitrose tomorrow!

Handing over duplicate vouchers will bring you to the attention of the supervisors and even mangement.

As they can check to see what has been through what till and who was logged on.

By doing this it could mean a clamp down that lots of other people have been suffering. As well as using vouchers that are not suppose to be used from other shops.

I don't use vouchers for things I have not bought due to the fact that most of my local supermarkets don't accept them. It really does not worry me. It is just a fact of life. And one day the supermarkets will clamp down as they don't want to handle them. I have even had my shopping ferretted through to check that I had bought the items. So not worth the hassle.
