i dont know if this has been said previously but out of date coupons scan in tesco and asda. i find most cashiers dont check the dates on the coupons and it is easy to slip some in. there is about 3 months grace for tesco to hand these coupons in for redemption so they still get their money and redemption fee.Just about to give up!0

Not so much in the way of savings today. First shop the cashier would only scan one voucher from the health and beauty ones and 2nd shop the cashier was willing to scan them but they made the till beep !!!
So 2 refusals today - never mind there is always tomorrow !

I got £20 off a £50 shop in Tesco's yesterday
Then I went and spent all the proceeds in Virgin Megastores - Christ Illusion by Slayer (£1 cheaper than HMV and the uncensored cover is inside if anyone is wondering) and Nevermind by Nirvana, £10 down to £7 lol.

Hi Guys
In response to the original post since I started recording (sad I know but it pleasese me) the coupons I have used against my shopping today i have reached the grand total of £1,000
I am soooo pleased as for everyone that jokes with me about my use of coupons I can now say (and indeed have been saying) "well that £1000 is enough for a holiday or a months mortgage" - it soon makes people think
The saving has been over 18 months - i look forward to the next bumper coupon haul!!!0 -

Somebody went into one of my local Tescos last week and bought HUNDREDS OF POUNDS worth of Tesco vouchers, all using Quick Reads:eek:
The cashier who accepted them has been given a severe warning and now they will only accept ONE VOUCHER PER SHOP!!!
All the cashiers have been sent a newsletter with the details of the incident and informed of the new policy.
That's that for that particular store for the rest of us MSE voucher hunters now!
I was concerned something like this might happen as their policy was so relaxed previously.0 -
Felicity where have you been ? have you been away ?
I like my voucher usage but even I will limit the amount I hand over, every time I search on ebay for money off vouchers it appears to be a quick read listing !

hi
i have never been able to use a quick reads voucher in tesco so this seems to be a one off i dont think that there tills are accepting them
in relation to my other vouchers i have been an avid collector for a long time (18 months) and whenver there is a good voucher in a paper or magazine i will buy several, along with asking friends and family for theirs as they are embarassed to use them
my tesco accepts three vouchers and so i will always use my highest one first - the best haul i had was a long long time ago - some kind of whisky voucher that was worth few pounds per time
i tend to buy my shopping little and often and if i go with my hybby i make him have the ppain of going in a separate till to get more voucher use !!!0
