How much do you save on your shopping using coupons?

We average £25 per week saving in coupons mainly at Tesco - using magazine offers (purchasing several at one time if advantageous), internet coupons, picking up loads instore from promotions, many from friends and relatives who can't be bothered to use them themselves but are willing to pass them on. Also going through newspapers and magazines due for recycling - offer to take them to the bin for friends and neighbours, then root through them first - also pick out any competitions etc as well.

Good luck - coupons are like cash - but you have to be brave and stand your ground when challenged - Tesco in particular have differing policies depending on the store manager. We've been fortunate for years with ours - most coupons within reason are allowed.0 -
Once I paid 6p for a £10.60 shop in Tesco! And it wasn't even self scan, but apparently now the manager told them all off for accepting vouchers when people hadn't bought the product. Hello? It's their policy :mad:0

I had a great day shopping today, I did it in 4 visits to maximise my voucher usage.
Before discounts my totals came to £180.00 and after discounts, bogofs, vouchers etc I paid just £79.00. I also gained a whopping 2,613 points which is just over £104.00 to spend at MFI. Which means they paid me to shop !!!
How did I do this, well for example I had a 750 point voucher for spending £30 on clothes, so I checked out the sale rail, bought some lovely items and used the clothing vouchers in conjunction with each other eg a £4 off, a £5 off, and 2 £6 off vouchers (different barcodes), which resulted in just spending £9 on the clothes and getting the 750 points. (Thanks to Prayi for the £6 clothing voucher and ebay for the till spill). I also used some of the toiletry vouchers and various other vouchers too.
Now, I don't do this every week and it really depends on the cashiers but I was exceptionally lucky today to do this. Additionally, some of the vouchers expired tomorrow so I had to do use them quickly.

Mr T also paid me to shop with them today. I spent £46 after BOGOF total was £36. Vouchers got it down to £10.40 and then I noticed I was overcharged so £9 back at CS so spent £1.40 and got 386 points. Oh and in the store they were handing out vouchers so got £4.80 worth of vouchers which are not Tesco's specific0

Hello siamesecats  no they do not - I have tried them. I have posted my olay vouchers to another Mse'r as I much prefer Tescos.
I did read however that Asdas have reduced their Olay range making some products only 99p using these vouchers

Spent total £67.69 in tesco but after R&R, coupons, BOGOF's and multi buys my actual spend was £3.12!!!!!!!!!! also gained 690 points through coupons and wombling. How's that for a spendthrift day can afford a chinese tonight now yay!!.
Not as fab as welshdragon's ( great MSE style) but good for me
BTW is anyone else having trouble using new H&B coupons?? Not all stores will take them (won't scan) some will - nightmare especially as the store that will in my area don't have the slimfast on offer and that's what I use them for. I can't fit anymore beauty stuff in my house after the last offer.0
