Saved £12.00 last week on grocery shop and £20.00 this week as they were late and had to refund the delivery cost too. Split £70+ order into two of £35and above to save £10 on each. Also got refund on bottle of wine as ordered 3 bottles for £10 and they only sent one at £3.71 which they refunded.0

Hi,
Yes, I had forgotten about this thread too.
My draw was bulging with receipts so I did a spreadsheet of savings. I am a bit reluctant to post the actual figures as I suspect some people may get annoyed!
I have made a total of 75 trips to Asda  , Tesco and Sainsburys from the 2nd of June up to the 10th September and from my receipts I have saved an average of 64%!
I know that is an awful lot of supermarket trips, but it includes a LOT of health & beauty things that I bought for the points (just need to have a car boot sale to get rid of it all!).
So on top of all the cash savings, I have £00's worth of points.
I have visited quote a lot of stores and know all of their policies off by heart! The best policy I have come accross is a Tesco where they will accept as many vouchers as products you have purchased (so buy 10 products, they will take 10 vouchers of any amount each, including duplicates).
The worst policy is another Tesco where they will not take more than 10%, they wouldn't even take the £2.50 off a £10 spend voucher that they were giving out in their own store!
In another Tesco store they would only accept 1 voucher per shop, so I just seperated all my shopping into little amounts! :cool:0 -
The next thing I am wondering about is if would be possible to buy Tesco voucher cards in with my shopping, pay using vouchers and then use the cards to pay for petrol.
Does anybody have any thoughts on this?
I have never bought a voucher card and am not sure if maybe you have to go and pay at customer services or something?0 -

For the first week of September I managed to use £85 coupons against my shopping. I've separated it out into Food, fizzy drinks (far too many!), health and beauty, and consumables such as ink cartridges, newspapers etc.
As I only spent £75 on food, thought this was pretty good!

I think my best shop was something like £60 off an £81 shop which was mostly school uniform and clothes. I also gained alot of points. I should work out what I save as it is huge. My shopping habits have changed since using vouchers as I now seek out stores where I know I can redeem my vouchers.
Also my savings are largely based on the vouchers I have when my stocks are high I can save alot but at the moment they are quite low - need some more Times vouchers.
I am using still using the toiletry vouchers £1.00 off a £4 spend - so buying £8 worth on bogof making it only £4.00. Then using 2 x £1.00 vouchers each time on toiletries so that has helped too as I am saving £6.00 !! Big thanks to cooltrikerchick who sent me these.
