Coupon-mad wrote:Correct me if I'm wrong.....you didn't, surely not, did you...use your Tesco Clubcard vouchers as money off your shopping?
Please tell me you didn't
Er... I did.
I personally don't have any use for them otherwise.
I think I'll have to read that information you are telling me.'They can tak' oour lives but they cannae tak' oour troousers!'The Nac Mac Feegle0 -
Madauri as my coupon mad friend states your vouchers are worth 4 times as much when converted into deals such as MFI, certain restaurants, breakdown membership, blockbuster rentals and much much more. See this link for more information:

I was amazed at 6.45am this morning to see someone using their tesco clubcard vouchers to buy diesel, being so early in the morning and without having applied the usual polyfilla I didn't want to scare them and so didn't strike up a conversation about the mis-use of their vouchers !

Well, I knew that about the deals already, but as I said at the moment and in my circumstances I can't really benefit from those. I check them sometimes just in case. Plus I am only one in my household and don't accumulate many points.
Anyway, the other day I didn't spend the money vouchers, but the others that give you extra points. (Ok, ok, I confess, I didn't spend the money voucher because I forgot to take it with me).
But now I'm going to read those threads Coupon-mad pointed for me to see. Thanks!;)'They can tak' oour lives but they cannae tak' oour troousers!'The Nac Mac Feegle0 -
No probs - you could always sell your unwanted vouchers on ebay and make some money - there is always a market for tesco vouchers

Tactical shopping at its best, Felicity. I am reminded what an amateur I am at this coupon game:rotfl:Felicity wrote:Yes, BUT if you have coupons, 0p is cheaper than 19p!!!! :j
I don't buy the basics from Waitrose as I only get a certain amount of manufacturers coupons, but I buy some lovely produce and get 50%+ off, so I get the quality at an excellent price!0 -
Oh, incidentally, has anyone any experience of the Quick books (or is it Quick Read?). I've come upon a batch of them, £1 per coupon, valid til December. I've had them accepted in Tescos but haven't been brave enough to use more than one at a time for fear of being banned like Welshie:eek: . I'm also a bit freaked about using my Clubcard when I do. I worry about the Big Brotherness of it but am I being a little paranoid thinking they will they be able to tell which coupons have used?
I'd love to know if I can get away with using multiples0 -
Hiya rozeepozee I use my quick read vouchers at other tescos apart from my local store without any problems at all. I had so many initially that I was carbooting them too to other moneysavers in another town. My one tesco will accept up to 3 of any voucher that is identical.
I always use my clubcard when redeeming vouchers, infact today went to a store on the way home from the office and the cashier said hiya not you again ! and then said come on hand them over, where's your stash of vouchers (he has apparently nicknamed me the voucher queen). However, as it was only a quick shop I did not have any vouchers on me but I did gain 535 points by buying certain items.

Thanks Welshie, I'll give it a go. I think it's the ex-lawyer in me. Worry about doing naughty things

Yes rozeepozee know what you mean. Although it's not an automatic right to have these coupons accepted it is a lovely bonus.

whenever I can, I bring the other half with me to Tesco. Going through separately on the tills means that more coupons are given in than I could do alone.
Mind you, he's not up to speed yet and will pick the cashiers that only accept three at a time!Saving money right, left and centre0
