  • yes I have a trainee moneysaver too - although he tends to get at the checkout and reads the paper whilst I try to direct him to some unsuspecting soul who looks like they will accept my vouchers !

Start off by searching the Chat Forum for threads like this:

You can get coupons in magazines, newspapers, on product packaging, by emailing companies to praise their product, or by printing off coupons from the site mentioned by Stebiz above (not the copied version first mentioned).

You may also find them in your local free newspaper (if you have one and if your delivery boy/girl has not kept them to sell on eBay...! :D ). Oh yes, and you can buy them on eBay under the 'tickets & travel' section but make sure they are stated as 'non store-specific' and 'original' (i.e. not copies or internet prints you could run off yourself).

    Good luck!

Don't worry you'll have planty of time to catch up. Just get into the swing of it - if you get refused (which you may do) don't argue - just hand them in next time. And of course remember who excepts the coupons as well....

    Good Luck

Have you all seen the Newspaper thread today?

If it scans OK there is a juicy £2.60 coupon off some posh magazine, in today's Times! Thanks to the OP, go get several copies!!!

I would check it scans at Tesco/Asda first by buying one copy and going through the till with a very small shop. Then buy loads more copies if it works, as it's valid for 10 days apparently!!!

Yep, the kids found the Avatar for me last night!

I have already used 3 out of 15 vouchers bought today. Got a couple of copies of the Times at Tesco with 'free Telegraph' coupons, cashier said ' did you buy these?' 'oh yes', I replied - which meant I could still hand over ONE voucher that I hadn't bought the item for (a £2.60 one of course).

I wonder if this coupon will be repeated tomorrow, because it has a fairly long expiry date for a newspaper one! I reckon we may see it again or even in another paper (maybe not in the Daily Star or the Sun though!).:rotfl:

but I think the dragon has been there so long now that I've grown quite attached to her ! I hope the voucher is repeated tomorrow in the Times as we haven't had a good one for awhile.

Where are the free telegraph vouchers from ? thanks Welshy x

Welsh D. if you know any students find out their student number for the Telegraph, Times, and Independant discount vouchers.
My sons have graciously allowed me to use their numbers. :-)

Edited to say:- Also Guardian vouchers which my newsagent is happy for me to use to pay my paperbill. He's happy as I pass over £30worth per month and he gets extra as a handling charge from the newspaper
