    Hi

I make xmas eve hampers for my kids. But am struggling this year for ideas for my 9 (will be 10 five days before xmas) dd1.

Normally i buy her some character bits but she seems to have outgrown that kind of thing now. I am really after some nice not to grown up toiletries for her bath and some little extras that are a bit more grown up.

Any ideas would be very welcome as i am totally blank and can't think right now

How about a few bits of jewellery? Necklace/bracelet - even earrings if she has her ears pierced - you can get nice bits for a couple of quid from almost any supermarket/Primark. Lush do a 'lush' ;) range of bath products, and have a fab Christmas range! There's a couple of brilliant threads you could take a look at -

Does she enjoy anything in particular? My daughter enjoys baking and she loves getting some baking ingredients or baking implements - bowl, cookie cutters, apron etc, of her very own. Sorry if some of my ideas are a bit 'young' for your daughter, my little girl's only 7 so I'm not sure just how different 7 and 9/10 year olds are! :) x
All horses deserve, at least once in their lives, to be loved by a little girl.

  • can anyone remember these boxes from last year? they looked fab but never managed to get hold of them...would be great for childrens christmas eve hampers. does anyone remember how much they were?

    thanks in advance

Just wanted to say, I ordered three snowmen mugs from Avon for our Christmas Eve hamper - they arrived tonight and are lovely!! They're currently £5 but that's offer price, they're normally £8 I think - anyway, they're lovely!!

Hi I saw some of these in both pink and blue in Dunelm Mill a couple of weeks ago, so it might be worth having a look if you have one near in case they still have them :)

I've got one of each colour in my basket. I don't have a store near me :( Are they definitely the boxes that you can write on with chalk because it doesn't mention it on the description?
