I'm going to attempt to make three Christmas eve hampers for my little ones this year. I have an 8 year old daughter, 6 year old son (will be 7 by Christmas) and a 2 year old daughter.
I have a decided that I'm going to include the following:
* A new pair of PJ's
* A Christmas story book
* Hot chocolate sachet & mini marshmallows in a festive mug
* Christmas DVD
* Santa Stop Here sign
* Festive plate & reindeer food
* Toothbrush/toothpaste
* Slippers/slipper socks
* Dressing gown
* Mini tTorch
* Popcorn
* Festive bubble bath
Plus some biscuits/nibbles etc. What do you think? Is that enough? I haven't actually bought any of it yet though!!! :S
I'm loving this thread and all the different ideas, it's really inspiring!I can't wait for Christmas now!

Hi all,
I'd love to make one of those for my OH; but I'm not sure what to put in it other than a mince pie, a lush bath bomb and some lactose free drinking chocolate.
Can anyone suggest anything else to put in it?

Hi LMC! Does your OH have any particular likes? A computer game/dvd/magazine, maybe some novelty pjs/boxers/socks, some of his favourite sweets - eBay is good for retro sweets, you could do a booklet of vouchers - "this entitles you to a massage/bath/special dinner" - obviously these could go as far as you liked
Am on my way out now but if I think of any more I'll post again laterAll horses deserve, at least once in their lives, to be loved by a little girl.

Cheers Cutterby, that's a great help and inspiration. I love the idea of socks and boxers and the little vouchers booklet. :cool:;)

what do u think? i am going to put everyones in a little bag then put them in a basket with a tin of eg roses and the magic key
Sounds lovely! Maybe include an activitity you can all do before/after the dvd - there's lots of free printouts on the net for colouring in (you're never too old for colouring!), or there's make your own "Santa stop here" signs in the poundshops nearer to Christmas...MultipleMumma wrote: »I think I will do a very large combined hamper for all of us so we all get something? Does anyone else do this? Do people wrap the things ( is that a silly question?)
Our hamper last year had the same things for everyone, pjs, a blanket, basket of sweets, printouts off the net of favourite characters to colour in - Eeyore for me, Spongebob for DH and Disney princesses for DD! But I didn't wrap anything, just put everything in and let DD and DH dig in!
(sorry for all the replies, should have hit the multi-quote button firstand sorry for taking this thread over, it's just something I love and think everyone should have!)
