:rotfl: good point! I didnt mean socks, as in 'Socks'! But not every guy wears slippers..... the idea for the christmas eve hamper is something comfy and cosy to lounge around in whilst watching a movie and winding down - maybe slipper-sock type things for your fella if he would wear them, or something like that.... x
    Slipper socks are good
  • Last time I was in TK Maxx they had lovely adult dressing gowns and matalan are quite good for kids ones although not looked this year yet :)

The only ones i found are 9-10 with feet, because she is taller than she should be, i don't know if this will fit, the one without feet says that 9-10 is in stock, but doesn't show up on the list!! lol

Here ya go Rusty, for when he grows out of Mothercare sizes :D

I think the idea is terrible and an excuse for kids to have even more!

I would never do that! Christmas presents are enough on the day.
Why on earth have you got to have new pyjamas, slippers etc cos its xms Eve and if you do why not put them in with the present on xmas day!

Its just more pressure for parents and what about kids who dont get this done for them they tell other kids at school about their hamper and then their mums/dads feel under pressure to do one!

Soon every child will have to have a mountain of gifts on the day and a mountain of gifts the night before! Now by the title of this thread the hamper has to be even better than last years? Sorry but where does this all end?

My kids always have new PJs so that they look nice for the photos on Christmas morning. I am making a hamper for the first time this year to make it more special. Kids grow up too fast and christmas is a magical time when you are little. x
