    Hi Rusty,

Sorry are you a He or a She? Is your partner a He or a she? Sorry, I don’t mean to sound awful, but don’t want to presume either!! :rotfl:

If your other half is a He – then some new PJ’s or comfy lounging around joggers or something similar if he isn’t a PJ man! Slippers/Socks, Shower Gel, bubble bath, a rubber duck or toy battleship for in the bath! Some beers, some of his favourite snacks (crisps, chocolate, etc), A guys Christmas DVD like Die Hard!

If your OH is a she, pamper pack, face mask, nail polish, hand cream, foot rub, smellies, some lovely pjs, slipper socks, a nice bottle of wine and some chocolates just for her, of course you need to help make sure that all the jobs are done in the house so she can sit down and enjoy these, and a nice girly chick flick like “The Holiday”

Speaking as a he who is approaching 40 - i would not buy socks, i honestly dont know a single man who has ever really wanted socks for a present, socks are functional things that you buy new ones when the old die - not really something that you hope Santa brings you!

Guys DVD suggestions - Watchmen, New Terminator Film, DVD of favourate stand up comedian.

If your going for shower gel see if there is one that matches the aftershve he wears as thats a luxery most blokes would not consider buying themselves.

    Cheers

Ooh I love this idea, we don't have kids but think i'll do one for my OH and get him to do one for me! I might do one for my niece as well.

For my OH I might get:

    Small bottle of sparkling wine
    Some chocolate he likes
Crisps (pringles or something like that)
    Christmassy DVD
    PJ's

That's all I can think of for now.

    For my niece

    Disposable camera
    PJ's
    Fluffy socks
    Snacks
    Christmassy DVD
    Snowman Soup

Rusty - those mugs are gorgeous :D
 Think happy & you'll be happy
    I :heart2: my doggies

Gorgeous mugs Rusty - have you seen the free mini bottle of Baileys freebie on the freebie thread? Not sure if it's still running but might be worth a go?

:rotfl: good point! I didnt mean socks, as in 'Socks'! But not every guy wears slippers..... the idea for the christmas eve hamper is something comfy and cosy to lounge around in whilst watching a movie and winding down - maybe slipper-sock type things for your fella if he would wear them, or something like that.... x
