    I just do the hampers cos I think Christmas Eve is really lovely family time and like 3 cheeky princess says, it's a good way to calm them down on the most exciting night of the whole year :D

    I put stuff like hot choc sachets, box of maltesers, popcorn and a nice Christmas film in. Then the kids have their bath and get snuggled to watch the film with their hot choc and munchies :) Actually, sounds very similar to 3_c_p's Christmas Eve doesn't it :rotfl:
    I bet between 6.30-7.30 on Christmas Eve we're all doing exactly the same thing lol.
    xx

    Yep, thirded :rotfl::rotfl:
    Man who run into airport turn-styles is going to Bangkok

    Sounds like one tradition we might have to start, Kids will be just 5 and nearly 2 so we might modify the Chocolate though! (Just the thought of adding the sugar rush to already exicited children is scaring me!!!

    You could always put in a satsuma or an apple? Mind you, i don't think i put chocolate in the one i did last year, was more night orientated with toothbrushes, shower gels and nightwear!

    Similar to the replies above.

    I always do new PJ's anyway & do something in the afternoon so this seemed like a great idea to fill the afternoon & evening with something enjoyable. This will be our third Xmas of doing it.

    Ours get delivered to our pillows whilst we are eating lunch! DD's can spend a while doing something crafty. Then we can snuggle down for a DVD with popcorn & a hot chocolate. Bathtime with lush bath bombs, new toothbrushes followed by new PJ's. Outside to spread the reindeer food & this year let the lanterns go (thanks whoever suggested that). Back in for a christmas story, get the cider ready for Father Xmas(!) & carrots for the reindeer. Then bed time.

    DD's will be 5 & 2 this Xmas.
