ARRR! I love Christmas!
I love this idea, I saw some of those Chinesey pj's in Primark the other day so might get DD some of those, and DS some of those really cosey fleecey ones
We always have a take away or one of those take away curry bags as a treat on Christmas Eve (cos we normally spend all evening preparing stuff for Christmas dinner so can't be bothered with cooking tea aswell) so could get some hot choc sachets and some of those Santa shaped chocolates that come in the nets.
Yeay, I'm giddy now!
Off to add something Christmassy to my sig!:rotfl:

Picked up a couple of bits today. Nothing much, though. Just some chocolates.0

I was going to do my other half one as well as myself, but he doesn't wear pj's, he's not a 'smellies' person, he can't really have chocolate or bad foods due to a condition, he has slippers he has hardly worn..... I guess it's just me then
If he doesnt wear jammies, you could put in a comfy pair of joggers or something for him to cuddle up with you on the sofa, and a fleecy blanket big enough for both of you. You could put in a slushy xmas movie for both of you to watch, like "The Holiday" and for his choice you could put in "Die Hard"...
Can he have a couple of beers or a glass of wine? If not, then like you say, you will just need to do one for you
I was in B&M and got some lovely fleecy hot water bottles which are nice and soft, they were £1.99, and got some matching fleecy slipper socks which were 99p each! :T One set will go in my hamper and the other one will go to my friend.
I got a little hot water bottle which is a hippo with a pink bow for my goddaughter and am going to get her some pyjamas too. But everywhere i seemed to look had nothing for age 5-6.
I got a little set in the Card Factory today which has a Santa Stop Here Window Sucker and a door hanger and a christmas card. It was 99p so i got that for DS hamper and when he hangs them up he can write the card out to father christmas.
I made up some reindeer food today and am going to add the tags to it tonight and pop that in the hamper too.Sometimes lurking, sometimes posting, but always flying

I popped in to Primark today and they have fleecy sleeping bags which I thought would be perfect for Christmas Eve Hampers. (I bought my girls dressing gowns last year and as they still fit them I need something different this year!).
They are called sleeping bags so I guess they could be used as sleeping bags for sleepovers etc. However, I thought they would also be great for snuggling up in in front of the telly.
I saw three designs - cupcakes, flowers and footballs. Best of all they only cost £2.94!0 -
awwww, wow, was looking at the reindeer fleecy blankets from Studio (but i hate studio so only wanted to order from them as a last resort!) but these sound ideal! Just hope they still have them when i make it to a Primark!Man who run into airport turn-styles is going to Bangkok

I wondered that too as my 6 yr old would love to snuggle up in 1 when we watch our crimbo films. I assumed it was for older children as funnyfreckle's children still fit into last years dressing gowns and the bags are good for sleepovers?Man who run into airport turn-styles is going to Bangkok

Hi - sorry not to have replied sooner. Detective Jetty is well on the case! She is right, my children are older - 5 and 7. I have just sneaked them out of the boot of the car to measure them for you - I am running out of places to hide things now the children are of an age to be far too curious!!!
They are much nicer than I thought - they roll up and do up with velcro and have a little handle. There is a zip down the side that goes down about half way and they measure approx 50" (126cm) x 24" (62cm). So they are perfectly big enough for children - I'm not sure I would use them as a sleeping bag but perfect for snuggling in front of a video.
I found them at the end of an aisle in the homewares section - they seem to have quite a few fleece throws in at the moment and they were near these.
I hope this helps.0
