We spent Christmas Eve morning last ywear making the Key with our 4 yr old - cutting it out from a big carboard box and then drawing/paining/sticking it until it looked just how he wanted it - then hang it on the outside door handle as he went to bed.0

Hello
For those who missed out on the "night before Christmas" dvd i have also ordered "The happy Elf" dvd for the day my Elf arrives on the 1st Dec but you could also use as a film in the Xmas even hampers. It is only £2.98 at amazon or £2.99 at play.com delivered.
It looks really good and the packaging has a effect which looks like it is snowing on the front cover. Very sweet.

I am really struggling with the xmas eve hamper for OH and I!
The childrens are all done apart from snowman soup in DS's (DD doesn't like it!) and also reindeer food which needs to be done closer to the time.
I managed to pick up some beautiful mugs yesterday from the Disneystore, they weren't however very MSE but OH spotted them and said how lovely and unusual they were so I grabbed 1 each for us whilst there £5 ... I ordered some new totes slippers for OH (should have been £15 but got them for £10.17 from lloyds with a 33% discount voucher!) I need to buy me some new PJ's. I will probably buy him a mini whisky, and myself a mini baileys but then I draw a blank, I could buy us a DVD to watch but no idea what? and could add a couple of snacky type things so we can snuggle up and munch whilst watching the film but I just don't know!! I could also do with getting a nice throw, preferably black as we want to redecorate soon and he wants black!
Anyone have any suggestions for me please?? Have you done one for your OH? what did you put in it?

They had lovely xmas mugs in card factory for £1.99 also but I'm going to poundland after work to see what they have. I'm planning on picking up a 'To Santa' plate and some cookies also for the hamper!
Hi Clarabell,
In my B&M they had christmas dinnerware....the plates dont say 'To Santa' as such, but they are proper 'china' plates as opposed to plastic, with reindeers and christmassy stuff allover. We bought a plate for our hamper for santas cookies for 89p.
