Hi guys,
Feeling tons better now even though I've caught a cold  but a few sniffles is way better than what I did have.
The house is spotless upstairs - clean bedding on the beds, bathroom swished and swiped and everywhere hoovered. Downstairs is tidy and will be hoovered when the kids go to bed. All washing done and the ironing pile is currently non existent :T:T We will be having pasta and tuna for tea with some garlic bread and this evening I will prep a beef casserole for the SC for tomorrow when I am in work.
I am off to the nursery after this coffee to pick up 3 more azaeleas for the front - blue danube is the colour - and intend to weed and potter around outside until I have to go to pick up LO. Hopefully it will warm up a bit and dry off the grass and I will mow it this evening.

I've missed you. Sorry to hear about your mum. How is the rest of your family?
Gentle hugs to all in need today. xxxx
Have a good one,

For the record I don't hate anyone in the entire world I do not believe in wasting my energy and thought on negative things. I have had nasty toned pms from some people on MSE but I have had them on block since and see no reason why if they do not like a poster they feel the need to respond. Just don't read my posts. It's not difficult.Hug to haribo as I just saw your post about p.ms and the "We hate Haribo!" club.
With only two members do they hold their meetings in a phone box?;)
You can't please everyone and today I can't seem to please anyone, even myself. Sigh!
Shall we both go and eat worms? (Old song).
It is ironic that I for a,long time have been feeling I have to stay away because of one poster. Everyone here is entitled to post and should be able to feel free to join in the debate and chats. What Would Bill Buchanan Do?0 -
Morning everyone,
Seems as though the stars are a bit out of kilter this morning?
OSiness from me. I had leftover birthday cake for brekkie - no food waste in this house!!:T Had a gorgeous weekend - oldest DS turned 10. Can't believe so much time has passed me by. Although when I look in the mirror and see the grey hairs, I can see where the time went!
Back to OS. Will be hanging out the washing, making bread of some description, Caramel Chocolate Muffins and Fajitas for dinner, I'm off to w*rk at 2pm. Might also try and do the final cut on my grass, it's been Monsoon weather here for a wee while and it's been too damp, but excuses be damned, I need it done.
Hugs to everyone who needs or wants one, even if you don't think you do!
Have a gorgeous day! :AIt's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your window

I'm giving myself a round of applause, i feel so good! Today is my very first day as an organised mum and housewife, I have used yesterday's stock in my broth, that slow cooking as we speak (rind off bacon for the birdies
) I have made my own bread which is sitting all warm on the window sill and now i'm off to find the recipe for chicken and veg pie which i'll use some more stock and left over chicken from yesterday. I feel so good, and very proud of myself, not least for getting organised so I can do it while my baby is asleep so I can actually enjoy it.
As for the doctors re my anxiety, my baby's car seat is in daddy's car so my sister is going to go get me the forms to register at my new docs and i'll pop down tomorrow to set the ball rolling. It's been years making this decision and now I have i'm very impatient in getting help.
Hope you're all ok!0 -

Hi everyone,
One of my infrequent posts - I always read but often don't have much to contribute.
Anyhow, I've been very good over the last few weeks in sticking to my meal plans, not so good at tackling the ironing mountain.
DH has finished the last of the painting in the kitchen (only a year later) and has hung the clock he got me last Christmas. It looks lovely - white with scattered butterflies flying away from it.
Re;teenagers, I was very lucky with my two they were and are very affectionate. I am best friends with DD (now 26) and DS (now 23) ends every phone conversation with "I love you". Mind you, having never heard those words from my parents I made darn sure that my children were told they were loved every day of their lives, even if I said "I don't like you very much at the moment but I love you." I still tell them every time I see or hear from them!0 -
snoozer, don't be silly. Even if it is just a line or two I am sure you have plenty to contribute as much as anyone else on here.
I was touched by your comments about your children. That is a very lovely way to see it.What Would Bill Buchanan Do?0 -
Ahhww SMOKY :A what a lovely welcoming message, many thanks to all other greeters also.
Well, in answer to several asking about my DB's they are stable at the mo. DB1's Prostate Cancer is behaving and his blood count results have not risen.
DB2 had another Melanoma removed 3wks ago and is healing well.
The Consultants at Royal Berks Hosp are having a meeting this aft to discuss what action to take regarding my Mum having had 3 heart attacks in 4 days, a bit unusual to have so many in such a short time. They have put 3 Stents in the arteries. I'll phone later to find out what they are going to do.
OS so far today - washing not line dried as it's raining, pie made, some ironing done, bedrooms vacumed and dusted. Don't feel like doing much as, like you Smoky, I'm full of cold. Must have caught it off DGD2, she is now 7mths old.
It's good to be back amongst my friends :A0 -
:A It's nice to see you back Beth. I have wondered what happened to you.:AWhat Would Bill Buchanan Do?0
