sunflowersuffolk I would second looking at yours, on their website they currently have white & cream linen trousers for £5.60, plus they lots of long line tops, best of luck & enjoy your trip. Also think the website has free next day delivery at the moment for new customers0

I don't think you'll have a wasted trip Sunflower, my Mum is early 60's, and bought some lovely cream lightweight trousers and a waterfall cardi, amongst other things...she gets all wound up about upperarms and turkeyneck as she very recently lost some weight (lucky so and so) but they do have a lot of classicky bits if you know what I mean....and you should have no probs, the staff are lovely, and if you want to take forever(honest....) trying things on then they will gladly fetch and carry and help in any way
It's nice that a shop can cater for all ages really
Good luck and I hope you have a lovely time at the wedding and look a million dollars

I had noticed that they also had a fair few "drapey things" in the sale in lighter colours too...approximate costings being about £15 for the dress, they have some lovely cardis and shrugs at approx £7-10 and I believe the trousers and drapey cardis/tops etc can be anywhere in £5-18 kinda range.
I'm sorry if this has been posted before but did not have time to read all thread, but they certainly did have some nice stuff that can be turned up to a "summer wedding" in!

Got an email from Yours today they have further reduced their sale prices. Some nice summer outfits at good prices. From previous purchases I'd say their sizing is 'true-to-size'. Also some good bits and bobs fore sale on ASOS site - check out the 'clearance' items in the CURVE range. I like their stuff becuase you don't see everyone elses wearing what you've just boughtand it's not expensive also free P&P for non-express delivery

Hi guys, I'm wondering if any of you ladies could help me out please? I have had an ebay shop selling plus sizes clothes for a while now, but I have got sick of paying the huge fees every month and I just started my own website.
Can any of you do me a massive favour and check it out for me? I am really needing some feedback on the layout, ease of use, whether these are the kind of clothes you would buy, what you would like to see more of etc? Theres always an element of personal choice when you are buying clothes, even wholesale
I am not allowed to post links, but if you google CSF CLOTHING then my store is top of the list..........
If any of you could take the time to check it out I would really, really appreciate it!

There is a reason why new posters are not allowed to post link and that is to avoid spam, like this one.
It's a good form of free advertising isn't it?
Anyway you asked for our opinion, here is mine:
- You are reselling some of yours cloting/evans stuff, which can be bought on their website more cheaply.
For example the black sequin shrug you sell for £19 costs £10 on Evan's website.
The tulip hem dress from yours fro £19.99: they have two very similar for £15...
You didn't even wait for the sales to finish...
- Also have they given you permission to use their pictures? they are copyrighted and they could take legal action against you.
- Your site is hosted on freewebstore, which as a buyer would not look very professional to me and inspire confidence in your business
- your return policy seems good, you read so much crxp particularly on ebay that is good to see someone not writing silly terms
Not sure this is what you wanted to hear..0 -
I was actually genuinely after opinions, as its not easy setting up your own business and costs a lot of money to have your website designed by someone else. I actually had all of this stock in months before evans started selling them, and there is no reason for me to put most items on sale as they sell fine on ebay. So, no, I didnt wait for the sales to finish, I was selling these beore they even started lol.
The pictures are from the wholesalers I deal with and yes, I do have their permission so I'm not worried about being hauled away by the photo police at the moment.
I understand your point about the freewebstore, but hey, we've all got to start somewhere. My post was really about ease of navigation etc, not about who else has what in stock, as that changes all the time.
Thanks for the warm welcome lol0 -

Hello,Need a spot of help please!
Going to a fancy dress murder mystery at a friends and I really need an outfit. My character is a failing actress amd girlfriend of a gansger and its set in the 1960s. The costume suggestion is frothy pink and plastic with bubbly hair, but I can vary this if I want.
Problem is at size 22 and slightly under 6 foot (buying trousers is a nightmare) what the hell will I wear??!! Please help if you can as everyone else is really getting into their character!
Thanks a lot, Liz xx

sunflowersuffolk wrote: »I've already posted here about sons imminent wedding in Australia, and thanks for all the advice when I asked about maxi dress. Well I've tried many dresses and have come to conclusion I'm wrong shape for dresses. I'm pear shape top 18 bottom 20/22 mid 50s so what fits top is miles too tight on bottom half. And I'm just not comfortable in a dress (plus my upper arms are not good), even with a jacket or bolero.
It's an outside do quite casual and probably really hot.
I was wondering about cream or other summery colour wide trousers in soft drapey fabric and longish line soft jacket with heels, or lacey edge to edge jacket, very llight fabric, over pretty camisole? Budget hoping under £100 ish if poss.
Any advice please as I've searched everywhere and can hardly find anything like that. It wuold suit me I think and I'd wear it again.
I think because the winter sales are on, a lot of the spring stuff isn't around yet, but i go in three weeks!! and I'm panicking.
If anyone has seen anything in their travels I'd be very grateful.
Hi Sunflower, I am sat waiting for my next flight after a break in Goa, so I understand the need for cool comfort right now more than anyone. You did not mention your height, I am taking it then that you are of average height, not too tall or small. May I make a suggestion..Do not go for longline unless you are tall, they make women look shorter. I Have had a search for you and hope these may help.. And remember cotton Knickers.. No polyester( sweaty)

This top could be worn alone..It has chiffon sleeves and hanky hem so does not finish on your widest area(never have a straight hem on the hipYou will have to copy and paste it in)https://www.evans.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?beginIndex=0&viewAllFlag=&catalogId=33054&storeId=12553&productId=2183818&langId=-1&sort_field=Relevance&categoryId=209519&parent_categoryId=209427&sort_field=Relevance&pageSize=200&refinements=category~[209521|209519]&noOfRefinements=1

OT, but my Mum is in Goa at the moment.
Really loving the Cardigan I bought in Evans sale. Got it when it was 20% off all sale and the 25% Prima code was working so a bargain. It's this one...
