I would have a look at Evans, I am sure I have seen very similar ones they have for sale. Evans always offer the wider calf. Infact they have just brought in the "normal E fit" I like that !:rotfl:just make sure you get the eee fit x"I AM NOT SHOUTING"0 -

Oooooh!!!! I like those! I like both of them actually! :T Thanks!
Would you say the Grazia ones come up big, or true to size? They don't have an 8, so wondering if I could get away with a 7...0 -
Hi! I have "boots envy", and I thought I'd ask here...
I've been hunting high and low for wide-calf biker boots, and cannot find any that are not too expensive (ie: around £50-60). I would like something like this:
In black or brown, leather, and sz 8. These are Kangol at Sports Direct and would be perfect except they're not wide fit and there's no chance they'd fit my mahoosive calves (or at least I'm 90% sure they wouldn't).
I'm quite specific, I have this image in my mind and nothing else will do...lol They have to have a chunky sole, and be made of thick (preferably matt) leather, and they have to be EEE fit at the calf.
Any idea???
I know you said calf length, but they look so similar to these ankle boots.A waist is a terrible thing to mind.0 -
It is always better to try things on from abercrombie because everything runs differently. If it is like last year the better merchandise like sweaters and outerwear gets marked down after christmas!! We also have a sale around the end of the school year in like June-July when all the summer merchandise.

Sorry!!! I only just saw this!
I think if you're a "small" 8 you might get away with them, I'm a bang on 7 if it's a wide fit and they're plenty roomy, with them being leather, there's also a bit of give in them-they're sooooo soft:D0 -
just wanted to point everyone towards sainsburys clothes, Ive just discovered their range and im a size smaller in there .... always good for a confidence boost and their stuff is really nice and reasonably priced too!Total DebtWas £4145.81now £0.000

I miss new looks hula jeans, they were the comfiest and best fitting jeans by far!
Ahh so they no longer sell them, I did wonder! I bought a pair from New Look just before Christmas, I am a size 24 bottoms (23 if there was such a thing, 22 is to snug and 24 is a tad big but hey!) and they are a bit too snug! (Im going to keep them as I wanna loose some weight this year!). I bought 3 pairs of wide leg jeans from Very and must say they are so comfortable. They are £20 a pop which is a bit dearer than new look (Im sure I used to pay £12 in New Look) but they are worth it IMO!So much for 'Money Saving'0 -

I have a look and you can still find hula jeans on ebay. It's a great place to find discontinued lines

I think they still sell them however it is not the same supplier and I definetly preferred the way they used to be made. The new style seems really thin and cheaply made and again their sizing is all over the place.Total DebtWas £4145.81now £0.000

Oh what a pity.
I don't really wear jeans, and New Look don't go up to my size, so I can't be of much help then.
Re. Very, mentioned above: I find them very hit and miss, good thing they have a free return policy because what you get is not always what you see on the website. I suggest reading their reviews, they give a good idea of what to expect (e.g. quality, sizing and in one case even people puzzled that they were getting something totally different to what was shown...).0
