just checked la redoute's website they have just launched another site: one stop plus.co.uk
with clothing up to size 40. I haven't sussed any discounts yet but you may be able to get one when you sign up to their newsletter

Glad I could cheer you up , :rudolf:is still in residence though (although the asthmatic walrus seems to be headed out the back door the chipmunk seems to have invited some friends around for a party!)

Thank you for this! Good too see we have many people on the lookout for new places to buy from!

There's this fashion of setting up lots of different websites, with exactly the same stuff!
JD williams and Littlewoods are the worst, they have so many webisites with exactly the same design and the same stuff
this looks like the same thing again
(oh except evans/arcadia, they have a second website, same stuff but only up to size 26 for some reason, maybe women up to that size don't like to be associated with Evans and even larger women?)

Anyway, I could not find anything over size 34 here, same as la Redoute they don't go as high as they say on the home page.

Also is anyone able to buy from la redoute/daxon etc? I've tried so many times but each time there is a problem, prices change at checkout, once they lost the order I placed etc
I often buy online, without any problem, but can't every buy from them.
Anyone had better luck?

I've experienced ther same thing with la redoute recently. I think their stock levels update quicker than is shown on the website so things in your basket show as out of stock by the time you try to checkout. It's a real pain :mad: esp if like me you spend ages trying to find something you like in your size.

I think I'll keep my fingers crossed and wait for some decent discounts in the after xmas sales

This happens quite a lot on popular websites when you try to buy something in one of those 'flash sales', as everyone else is doing the same.
But with them it's all the time.
A part from that, the prices also change, and what you find on the website is not the same you get when you put them in your basket. And discount codes never work.
I've tried many times, as I like their stuff, but I have still to succeed giving them some of my money.
