I swear, that is how I feel when clothes shopping!
I'm 5'2", with a 26" inside leg but a UK size 22-24! I'm also well-endowed on top which means that, quite frankly, nothing I ever buy fits.
The rise on trousers is always far too low, and the "knees" in the material are halfway down my shins. Tops-wise, I have to get them to fit my bust, so the shoulders are almost at my elbows and the cuffs go to the tips of my fingers. Not to mention the fact that, 9 times out of 10, they're so long they reach my knees! I end up looking so ridiculous but I've not found anywhere that does decent, plus-size petite clothes :-(
Evans are useless, Yours have mentioned in the past they're getting a petite section, but nothing's come up yet, and I'm at a loss for anywhere else. I would really love to get clothes that actually fit me properly rather than just "making do" with what I can find!0 -

Littlewoods do some petite stuff in plus size. Their sizing is terribly unreliable though, often mislabelled etc. If you want to buy something I suggest you read the reviews as they would say if sizing is off.0 -

Bon Marche do some of their trousers in a short length think it might be 27" I find a lot of their tops too short and I am average height so might be worth a visit.0 -
Hi Max, Aword of warning!.. I bought those boots soon as they were released and payed the full whack too! The back of the boot overhangs the very slight heel, I wore mine for a trip to amsterdam with my hubbie and daughter, put them on in the morning, flew over, checked into the hotel, went for a wander, had a meal, came back, took the boots off and a hole had worn through the back of the heel where it over hangs. I may well be heavy footed(if that is what it is called) but I have never had this happen to shoes/boots before. I took then back the the evans in the White rose and the manager gave me a refund as hers had done the same! I a way that was lucky as Evans can be have terrible customer service normally. So Cut ting it short.. wear them inside only..or see if your cobble can put something on the heels first to protect the fine material. They do look great though x:(
Uh ho...that's not good news!I'll see how they look when they arrive. I'm having second thoughts now anyway tbh! I can't wear heels at all (can't walk in them!), so I thought I'd treat myself to some knee high boots for once. But now I'm thinking that I have absolutely nothing to wear them with, as I don't wear skirts - only bootleg jeans!
I think there's a fair chance they will be going back! Plus, I treated myself to a gorgeous pair of Dr Martens boots earlier this month....lol0 -
Hi just noticed a text on my mobile from the "Yours" clothing website with the code: xmasgift for 15% off all nightwear, lingerie and Limited Edition items. I think it's valid until Tuesday midnight
I've bought quite a bit from the website and their clothes are good quality and at a good price
hope it helps someone save a few pennies I don't think it's for specific customers0 -

I'm pretty sure Marisota / Simply Be do a 25 and a 27 inside leg in many of their trousers. I've ordered some for my mum before and she's a 25 inch inside leg.
My friend Ju used to struggle to fit her boobs into tops and she found the solution for her was sleeveless tops with cardigans over the top that she never did up.
Ann Harvey did a bunch of 26 inch long and 27 inch long tops a little while ago which didn't sell and mainly ended up on eBay so they might be worth a look.
That's all I can think of for now.Not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted. Einstein0 -
RE: Jeans I'd like to recommend Eve Jeans from Simply Be. I have a big bum, a big tum, big thighs and chunky knees and they work well for me.Not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted. Einstein0

Has anyone noticed the recent moves by Evans towards limiting the size range?
First they opened a new site (from Arcadia, same group), 369, going up to size 26. Now they stock a couple of ranges (with posh names, posh prices, and I expect same standard quality....), one going only up to size 26, the other 28.
Not good.
Sizes 30/32 have very little choice already (without mentioning 34 and over...), being limited even more.
I wonder what is the business rationale, I expect larger plus sizes cost more to make and fewer people buy them. But that was the reason why retailers did not stock anything size 16+ until not long ago...0
