    Morning Everyone

What a great thread, that I've just found!

I've been searching around for something to wear to a party night out and also a work's meal on a different night.

The party night - I think - most people are wearing posh frocks - the meal will be more casual I think.

Anyway, I've already bought a couple of dresses but not sure of them now, so ended up buying a long black maxi dress with a round neck and embellishment around the neckline - and got some gold and black earrings to wear with it. It's quite nice, however, I foind the Yours Clothing website and really love this:

and the leggings that she's wearing too

Now the problem is - I'm 52 years old, size 22 and after having read some negative comments on this thread, am starting to wonder if it would look totally ridiculous??!

    you will look ridiculous.
Who would say I couldn't make you mine? You were mine since th' beginning of time. Who would say we were far apart? You ever reside in the core of my heart?

Have bought some stuff out of the Clearance shop. It is the same quality as the main range. Sizes are a bit smaller that Marks, it will still fit but will be a bit more fitting.

No, you won't, I think it's lovely and very appropriate, and if you feel good in it, you will look comfy and relaxed, and therefore fabulous. Go for it :)

  • Could anyone help please. I'm a size 22 and want some black or indigo jeans, simple style, no sparkle to draw attention to big bottom!

The trouble is, I have really fat thighs, knees and even calves (typical British pearshape). I am 5'6".

I want jeans that come up higher than hips, nearer waist fit as more flattering and comfortable, and with some stretch. So many bootcut look too tight round knee.

I've looked for straight cut but not had any luck. I don't want to buy online as I need to try them on. Saw some wideleg ones online, but not keen on them.

Tried some Ann Harvey recently and they looked good in the leg, but crotch was too low (or legs too short) and they only did one length.

I really need to some some weight but just cannot do it. Thanks anyone for any ideas or advice.

If you have a tesco nearby that has the true range in I find that their jeans are a great fit & they do standard & short length & are straight legged, they go upto a 28 last time I got them they had black & a dark blue, & at £8 are good value, even better when I got them on a 20% off weekend :j
