Thanks terra-ferma, you just saved my bacon there! Got a Wonderbra from Simply B last week which I will be returning (absolutely rubbish quality and I had to wait 3 months for it, and I wanted it for a wedding in August!) Thought it was still 28 days so hadn't rushed to the post office with it, so guess where I will be going tomorrow :D

Did you just happen to spot that it had changed, or had they written to you to tell you? I get bombarded by their catalogues (and catalogues for all the various JD Williams companies) but it looks as though they are not so quick to tell you about things like this!

(But I've not had any problems with returns to Simply Be, including a bra which some skank had had before me, worn and stunk out with her BO and then sent back - it was part of a pack of 2, so Simply Be told me to chuck the nasty one, keep the second one which was ok, and then sent me a replacement pack)

    YUK!
at least you got an extra bra out of it...

I found out reading the small prints at the back of the yellow document that comes with the order, also online.
I've never had problems with returns, except once I got charged e restocking fee because I was 1 day late!
They also nicked a positive balance I had because of an overpayment, but gave that back to me...

    Hi
Sorry if this has been asked before, but can anyone point me in the direction of plus sized opaque tights.

I use to buy them in M&S but they seem a little short.

I'm looking for black in 40 denier and above.

    Thanks

Sainsburys and they are better than M&S

On the subject of tights, I have a problem buying tights too, usually if they fit around the leg, they don't pull up all the way to my waist, they fall short, and I can't wear them. I'm not tall, I'm 5 foot 7, so reasonable average height. I've tried buying tights from many places, supermarkets are the worst, the normal black opaque tights never seem to fit. Coloured ones (I bought some lovely purple ones from Asda) on the other hand, do fit better. Last weekend I went to BHS and they had an Evans section, and for one pair of black opaque tights was £8! Further in the store in their own section, they had packs of 3 pairs of opaque black for £6, and wooly black (£6) and other colours (£5.50). I bought a pack of three and black and purple wooly tights, which should have been £17.50, but they have a 2for£10 offer on (a nice surprise as there were no signs), so it only cost me £16. They are the best sized tights I've ever had, they fit really well. I'm a size 20-22.

    Hope this helps someone :)

Did anyone see a post about a waist cincher (from an online site) that was only £6? I thought it was in this thread, but even searching through the whole forum I can't find it and now I think I must have been dreaming!

No I don't remember reading about this, sounds rather uncomfortable...

apparently it was pretty good, not uncomfy, though some people found they came up small and others felt they were true to size. Still can't find the thread though!

Has anyone read about a gym subscription as opposed to something which holds the fat in?

    Me too :D

    Now I wonder...

Has anyone read about answering the question that has actually been asked in the correct and relevant thread as apposed to asking a question that may or may not be relevant to readers looking for answers to said question, but should most certainly have been asked in a different thread on a completely different board of the forum?
