    Hello
I am looking for advice for clothing for my DIL, who is too scared to enter the forums. She is looking for tops, size 26/28 that have a bit of a length to them, to cover her bottom/tummy areas. She is a bit disheartened with Evans and their quality and has tried Yours last year but also found them poor quality, has this changed at all?

I'm typing as she talks to me so please bear with me, she is also looking for leggins that are like jeans, has some in size 22 but they are falling down and going baggy, they are from M&S.
Any advice would be most appreciated, thank you.

If she's happy to shop online, Pink Clove have some nice tunics.

I just bought these in the pink and green, and they are really comfy and flattering. http://www.pinkclove.co.uk/new-arrivals-c7/lips-print-baby-doll-tunic-p250

Evans and Yours are both too big and saggy in the shoulder/neck area for me.

Agree Tu leggings are good, buy the luxury ones, not the duo pack. You will probably also need to size down. I'm a 24 and buy the 20. I have never really found legging like jeggings that fit well unfortunately.

I wear these from Marks http://www.marksandspencer.com/5-pocket-denim-jeggings/p/p22245330

They are more jean like than legging like, and I do need to wear a belt with them but I like the quality and they look pretty smart.
I'm so boring, my clothes wanna keep someone else warm, someone cooler

I think Sainsburys may have stopped stocking the leggings I have been in our 2 big superstores (Glasgow) looking for them and there have been none.
Might be worth a phone call if you were making special journey.

You don't say how old she is, but Asos has some nice stuff, particularly younger styles, and they have good sales from time to time.

I don't get much in Evans now but liked this top http://www.evans.co.uk/en/evuk/product/clothing-250468/tops-tunics-1881027/longline-tops-tunics-1881368/evans-blue-bird-tunic-2747116?refinements=category~%5b1135734%7c1135614%5d&bi=1&ps=24#BVRRWidgetID
I'm normally a 26/28 but have bought this top (and the same one in navy) in a 22/24 and it is plenty big enough. Nice and long (I am 5' 8.5") and washing fine so far.

    Hi All,

Firstly a recommendation. I get most of my work tops from Lands End - you can filter by clearance and plus:
    http://www.landsend.co.uk/Sale/Women/ix-5780?prefn1=variationSizeVariation_9&prefv1=Plus

It's nice stuff and lasts forever.

Also, some advice. I'm looking for some dark wideleg jeans in size 20. I'm 5 9, so need the inside leg to be 32. I've searched everywhere, but can only find flares, or pale jeans. I've just started a new job where 'smart' jeans will be acceptable workwear most of the time, but I can't find any to replace my beautiful Wallis ones!

Any thoughts or ideas? I only really suit wideleg jeans, which is a bit of a bind...

I get these George at Asda Moda denim jeggings - they only go up to a 24 but are very stretchy so may be worth a try. I am huge on bottom half and love the way they fit - no extra bulk with pockets etc and they keep their shape and wash well. Just bought 2 more pairs online as on offer at £8 each. Yesterday they didn't have my size, today more in so worth keep checking. I find the denim ones are but more generously, the black ones are too skinny for my fat legs! You can order online and collect in store free.

I also find the Moda tops good at Asda, wash very well and cheap. Good luck to her.

Great time to shop at Evans (if you can find anything you like, although there are some good pieces).
There's up to 30% off everything on the site, plus there's a discount code for an extra 20% off (check the evans thread on the coupons forum).
I don't like their quality, basic cotton stuff like t shirts and knickers it's not very good, but when you just pay a few ££ I can live with that.

Also Taking Shape has a good sale on, and 20% off all dresses. If it's your first order you also get an extra 20% off. And postage is always free.
The quality is excellent, those pieces will last a long time.
Sizing is totally off, e.g. I wear a 24 in trousers, I got a 22 and some trousers are still slightly too big. Their tops are very generous on the hips and bust (similar to Ann Harvey) but the arms can be rather small. I suggest getting two sizes to try on, or visit a shop if you can.
Also some colours are brighter than they look on the website, be prepared for some deep emerald greens in your wardrobe ;)
(I'm very grateful to the posters who mentioned TS on this thread, at first I dismissed it as being very expensive, but the sales have brought prices down to a more affordable level, THANK YOU!).

I have bought quite a few things from the r&r range and have found the to be a great fit and good price especially with the vouchers they send out with the card.
A special mention for the prom dress that was on the fashion bit on This morning it is black and white with spots and is £20 and doesn't need ironed and is a really good fit.
I always thought the range was very limited but they have over 60 items now including nightwear which I have put away for my hols.
    Hope this helps someone.
Thanks for the post about Evans combined the 2codes on top of the 30% off &saved £45 & order has been despatched.
