I find the leggings in the Tu range from Sainsbury's great. I'm short too. Sizing is generous

Don't know what size they go to but my daughter said the Gok Wan leggings from Sainsbury were the best she's ever had.

Yep the individual ones rather than the two pairs per pack.
Gorgeous thick and soft. Think they do up to a 24 but they come up big
I'm so boring, my clothes wanna keep someone else warm, someone cooler

I've just had a look and they only seem to have 2 packs? If anyone can link me up to any they have tried I will be most grateful!

I'm looking at more leggings again, but like patterned, not black. But I guess I am between sizes, so find either tad small/short, or not tight like I like them. baggy baggins around the knees, and bum isn't my thing.

I broke the zip on my lovely bargain £5 wool blend tescos bloke coat a few weeks or so ago. I had it for several years to be fair, and got it at that price at end of sale, so it owes me nothing. We did try and fix it, but it needed a new whole zip. Frankly with the weather I needed to replace it, but struggled to find a wool/wool blend coat in the shops that didn't cost over a hundred, or just at all. So I ended up trawling ebay to find something, perhaps an older styled normal plus sized shop coat.

In the end I came across a fitted wool and cashmere blended coat, with belt. It wasn't cheap to be fair, but I am in love with it. I was hoping to spend at least half of that, but I have to be realistic in that they don't sell for that unless it's mens tesco end of sale :D

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251194765032 is what I went for, in grey. The only thing is.. The flap things on the top front shoulders sticks out a little, so I will tack those down. However I am in love with it. They have quite a few coats up to 26 or 28, some gorgeous ones at that. But I was adamant with the freezing weather I'm living in currently, included with no real heating either, wool heavy thick coat was a must. Sewed on a little organza flower to give it a bit of a colour kick, and it's not a bad coat really, very warm. Obviously only had it a little while, but I'm hoping I'll get a couple years out of it. Adjusted one set of buttons, seeing as I am wearing several cardies/jumpers atm but there is a lot of room, without it feeling like a tent I guess.

    ---

Plus. My chicstar spotted swing dress has reached the end of its fitted life. After a few sewed up adjustments it's just not looking right on the top section, so planning to take off the skirt section to make into a swing skirt (with it's undernet of course!). Therefore I've been browsing for a nice top to go with it.
Again been completely disappointed in a fancy smart top, but not in black with black and a hint of more black, in a tent like cut. In the end went for a cheaper Holy clothing corsetted styled top in silver.

Gunna have a go dying the white spots on the skirt a silver to match. When I bought that tub of silver clothes dye thinking that's a great idea, I was thinking there wasn't as many spots... yeah right, I then went and looked at the skirt. >.<

I want this as an out fit in a months time. I'm going to be singularly painting in spots till the cows come home. Hope it works!
  • Just a head's up that Taking Shape have a special offer on this weekend (definitely in store, not sure about the website). The company is celebrating their 29th Birthday and as such is offering a 29% discount on all full-price items for this Saturday and Sunday (15th and 16th Feb). Hope this helps someone.
  • Has anyone used http://www.lovefashion.co.uk/ before? I've been browsing eBay for some new cheap tops for work and found a couple I liked by the seller lovefashion-outlet and this looks like their website. Seem to have good feedback and their on Amazon too which makes me feel safer!

    Thanks,
    Laura

High & Mighty are expensive but their warehouse clearances that happen occasionally can be really good.

I was in Evans for the first time in years, as someone had given me a gift voucher for my birthday. I was horrified by the loud garish prints, terrible sleeveless tops and horrendous cheap material. They must take people for fools - there is so much better stuff out there. I ended up spending my voucher on tights and leggings to get rid of it

I recently picked up some great bargains in the Boden sale. Go up to a size 22 and generous fit. Some of the stuff is a bit mumsy but picked up some nice dresses suitable for work.

    I need help!

I'd like an under-wired swimdress size 24 or tankini size 22 - I've tried all the regular sites but can't find anything. Any ideas please?
