its not impossible at all ! Do you find the jersey viscose is flattering? I feel that most times it sticks to bumps rather than flow. What if it was a dressy top done as you said with a chiffon outer over a slinky inner? And would the 3/4 sleeves be flared or what? I ask as i am wanting as many suggestions and want to know what other women want to make a unique design collection of my own. Thanks for answering and keep suggestions coming. They are all taken, noted and then in the new year i hope to be able to showcase some designs somewhere, and women can vote which ones should go into production..so its not impossible xxxxxxxxxx:t

In defence of viscose... it's a good alternative to man-made fabric, which I hate as it makes me cold in winter, hot in summer and all sweaty. Yuck!

    Hi folks

I wonder if you could help me please? I would realy like to buy a 3 in 1 jacket (the outer layer is waterproof, inner layer is a fleece, both can be worn separately or together) but am having trouble finding a good quality one in a larger size. I'm a size 20 - 22 and have been unsuccessful in my quest so far.

    Any ideas please?

    Thank you

Decathlon - up to a 3xl in some styles, most of the mens stuff goes bigger and is unisex looking, and they have a large range which will go from cheap to expensive depending on quality and perfomance - they have a website too.

I agree! Whenever I see these types of top they look nice on the hanger but then I try them on they look hideous (on me anyway!). Speaking as a woman with a larger bust I tend to prefer long or 3/4 length sleeved tops, usually made from 100% cotton, either patterned (but not too garish) or plain. I remember reading somewhere that women with larger busts shouldn't wear short sleeve tops as it just draws attention to your bust line! If the fabric is striped I prefer it to be vertical stripes (make you look thinner than horizontal!). I tend to wear casual clothes most of the time, so I would probably buy something like this top from Evans or these from Next. Oh, and I never, ever wear white!
  • Yes they were mentioned, see page 4, posts 71 and 74.
Have you bought anything there recently?
Sorry,, learning that I need to keep my glasses on. I havn't ordered anything for a while but my friend just bought a lovely chocolate brown jacket and wide leg trousers, the cut and quality were great.

I am looking for purple, pink or black, leather or Suede and dont mind spending up to £25. Any help would be great.
Debt free since July 2013! Woo hoo! The bank actually laughed when I said I have come in to cancel my overdraft.

Try John Lewis or Debenhams. I have black leather & brown suede from them (can't remember which way round) but JL have a huge selection of styles & colours.

thanks for your input x if you want to wear short sleeve tops with big breasts, wear ones that have puffy sleeves. Large patterns are the best, some times they are a little garish but more flattering than the small ditsy prints. Or what about a long waist coat to break things up? Also check out gok wans bras.. The longer ones give loads of support and the push up one does as it says on the tin! You may need to get a few differnt sizes to find the perfect fit. You can get them at naturally close, try them on at home without having a sweat attack in the small changing rooms, and return them free of charge if they don't fit...fab a roo.

Hi all and good bye for a few days x i am going to majorca for a short break with the hubbie. Its !!!!!! the little worries about my body creeping in threatening to spoil my holiday. Things like..will i fit into the airplane seat? (by the way beware when booking extra leg room if you are tall as well as big.. I have booked them before and the seat size is smaller as the arms are fixed and wider!) will the chairs be too small? Will the sunbeds on the beach be strong? Silly but i always check the chairs before i go into a resaurant or bar. I'm as size 22 and 24 and 5ft11" so some people say'i carry my weight well'. If i don't fit somewhere i feel down all day, like i have a sign on my head saying "yes i will need a crane to move me soon". I actually ride everywhere on my bicycle and having 3 little ones keeps me very active. B******s to them all. I'm going to have a fab time with my husband whom loves me and my fat bum x
