any ideas ladies? thanks x
My Mum bought me one from Evans to wear under my bridesmaid dress and its lovely - white and the sides are stretchy lace. It's a multi-way bra but can be worn strapless if that helps - I'm an awkward size but its lovely and comfortable on and gives a decent shape. Hope that helps x*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200 -

I like these as they're comfy, cheap and hard wearing http://direct.asda.com/george/womens-jogging-bottoms/casual-joggers-black/GEM149326,default,pd.html & http://direct.asda.com/george/womens-jogging-bottoms/casual-joggers-grey/GEM149327,default,pd.html not sure if they as fitted as you're looking for though.A waist is a terrible thing to mind.0 -
Thanks all - I ended up with this one in the end, I did look at a few others, and the one I was going to get was out of stock in my size!
It does a good job which is good aswell xx

Hi Ladies has anyone ordered from Bon Prix before?
I'm thinking of ordering 2 diff sizes of jeans but according to their size chart I am a size 26 instead of my normal 20 22. PLEASE tell me that can't be right!!!
Is their sizing unusually stingy? they seem very diff to other online stores.
Thabks in advance everyone0 -

I'm not familiar with Bon Prix, but generally speaking French sizing is TINY, bottoms in particular.
I once got some knickers from France that were supposed to be my size, but they were tinyyyyyyyyyyy, could not get past my bum!
If they offer free returns I'd go for a 24 and a 26, I'd be surprised if your usual size fits you, if they are like other French brands.
But maybe someone who shops from them can give you better advice0 -
I have had some things on the larger side and some on the smaller, not the best quality, my bras lasted about 5 wears unlike my primark ones which keep going and going.0

I could really do with some advice please on what to buy for a special evening, as I don't go to these do's usually (for exactly theses reasons). My younger sister has asked us to a dinner dance with family and friends at a nice hotel in late November for their 30th anniversary. Trouble is, since gaining more and more weight, I never wear dresses as they don't look good on me.
I'm 61, 5.5", dark brown hair (used to be anyway) and size 20. I have quite narrow shoulders, not sloping, but it gets worse from thereon down. I have a big bust, 38FF a waist that does go in, then big bum and hips, big thighs, tree trunk legs and ankles ...sob.... it's horrible confronting the reality! Oh nearly forget, and big fat arms.
I know everyone else will be wearing a dress so I would like to too, if I could get one that looked ok. My first thought was, trousers and top, but just wondered if any of you have any great ideas?
Colour wise black near the face makes me looked drained,
Normally when I try them, if the bottom fits the top is too loose. I don't want to show off my bust or arms or lower legs. See .. it really is a challenge!
Dresses make me "feel exposed" every lump and bump showing, if I wear a jacket i feel more hidden.
Two years ago before my sons wedding in Australia I went to a personal shopper (John Lewis i think) but she didnt find anything that made me look nice. Several of you on here had some much better ideas!
My other thought is, If I could lose a bit of weight in 8 weeks to make it a bit easier, and possibly exercise to improve my arms?
I do hope some genius can come up with some ideas. Thanks:)0 -
How about something like this:

with a shrug for your arms:
http://www.annharveyfashion.co.uk/clothing/tops/Pale-Blue-Cover-Up-73112636.html (depending if the shade will match above though)
or:
http://www.annharveyfashion.co.uk/clothing/dresses/Cobolt-Jersey-Dress-83610231.html
with a shrug again (but the matching one is only in a 16 on the web site.
I find Ann HArvey to be very comfortable and well made.0
