Can anyone recommend a plastic waterproof mac typed coat. I don't want padding, I don't want massive prices, and it needs to be around 26-28 and able to come in the next week.
I'm thinking maybe those that look like bin bags, but a bit posher :D OR those that are looking like a coat somewhat, but literally are just a plastic overcoat, can be folded up small. Off on hols soon, and I'm wanting to take something like that, as I can do coats, but nothing that's really waterproof.
I search anything like festival overcoat and they don't do big sizes :/
I will literally live with a tent typed thing (fat person wearing a tent makes me cry) but for a very short period and if it ticks the boxes, I will live with it.
You could try Cotton Traders http://www.cottontraders.co.uk/womens-coats+jackets/womens-waterproof-jackets/icat/womens-jackets-waterproof/
    or search menswear
or something like these (can't vouch for the site)

Yours have some. Two are in the sale. http://www.yoursclothing.co.uk/ecommerce/productlist.aspx?KeySearch=Mac
If you're a new customer, sign up to newsletter to get discount & next day delivery (if they're still running that promo). I have a 3 in 1 thing from cotton traders. Bit long in the arms for me, but did the trick in Iceland in January & nice to be able to detatch the fleece bit when warmer.

    my latest pac a mac

    I actually quite like it

Evans also had some nice showerproof jackets in a grey with butterflies on
  • Jacks, thanks for that.

The top in the middle wasn't bad in the picture, but in reality, it clings a lot and the neck dangle feels horrid.

The other two, I wouldn't be comfortable with - the sequins aren't me (and their long sleeved t-shirts, like M&S, shrink in a cold wash) and the top one, i've had similar before, and it just led to people offering me a seat on the bus.

Sorry, I do really appreciate you trying, though.

:D No worries honey. I know it's difficult. The next time I find something that a) fits, b) looks ok, and c) fits in with what I laughingly call my personal style I'm going back for a duplicate.

I try on so much stuff and only one thing in ten is even a contender.

When I find the right things though, I just look so much better for it.

    So I keep trying. :p

I've got six return parcels in my hallway awaiting collection right now.

It's a bliddy nightmare trying to get something half decent to wear sometimes isn't it? ;)

    This made me laugh.
    I am 5,11, and an a H cup.

Trousets are too short, tops don't cover my tummy, shirts gape over the chest and dresses and tops are too big in the shoulders and wear to low to go without a cami.

    So,who can wear Evans
I'm so boring, my clothes wanna keep someone else warm, someone cooler

If I ever find any there, I'll let you know.

At this rate, I'm going to have to patrol the local college for fashion students in the hope that there is one that sees beyond sample size/11 year old boy figures to something that could make them a good living.
