What a shame, it's a lovely warm coat though, so you would probably be quite warm enough in a lighter jumper.

I've tried it on again 3 times now, trying to convince myself I don't look like a stuffed sausage...I'm going to send it back for a refund. Ah well.

Let us know how you get on with yours Bushbaby! And the down coat too, still unsure about that one.

OK, so the Shimmer Down coat and the short squall parka arrived today. Both size XL.

Quality of work is amazingly good for the price. The down coat (£69) fits v well (if I don't put on much weight), it's light weight and super-warm. Not at all bulky. With nice little fashion touches (zipped cuffs, side tabs th cinch in the waist, down filled hood with detachable fur trim and fur collar etc

The waistline is nipped in at just at the right place for my height. A def keeper for next winter. Max, would this one be an option for you? It's not a 'tall' option so I reckon it would be a decent fit if in your size. I think they do free exchanges.

The parka is weirdly sized / shaped. Too tight at the back across of the shoulders and too wide at the hem / hips. Was this what you found Max? It just feels a bit small compared to the down coat.

The waist draw string is almost under my bust line. I think this style has to be the right fit otherwise it's quite bulky and uncomfortable. Would be OK for a shorter lady. This one is going back. Just noticed they've added this to the description!!

Please note: fit is more feminine and closer fitting than previous seasons, please size up if you want room to layer

Maybe the 'tall' Stadium parka will fit better (should arrive tomorrow). Will let you know.

Thank you for the reviews! The one I would go for is the Essential down coat, so a little different to the one you got. Although I'm guessing it should be similar in fit...Don't know if 2X would fit me in that model, depends what the sizing is like compared to the stadium parka. The black is out of stock in 3X anyway.

The Stadium parka I got was just too snug all over really, and the sleeves were also a bit too short for me. I'm quite tall at 5'8 though. Let me know how you get on with yours, and whether you can see a difference in sizing with the down parka!

Thanks for your help, I'm glad at least one of them is a hit for you so far!

Good Luck Max. I forgot to say I took Terra_Nova's advice and called customer Services thay were able to give more measurements than on the website, ie: length of sleeves etc

    Hope that helps!

My bike jacket is by JTS, but it's a men's one, so not sure I can be much help anyway. What bike gear do you need to buy?
