Figleaves sell a swimsuit up to a 50"+ bust with a few around 42" to 48". Simply Be for gymwear, they sell Hamnett, Lonsdale, Joe Brown.0 -
I've shopped a lot at Big Matt's Menswear, bonus is he's a big guy by the looks of the photo's so they seem to get my "issues" as a big guy (I'm a 5XL - 6XL). Service is always great and good prices. Web site address is bigmatts dot com
I'll be getting my family to get my Xmas present from them
JohnWhat about larger men? My O/H is much bigger than average, with size 12 feet, 48 waist and 58 chest. He's also very long in the body so shirts etc. are nearly always too short for him.
I find Premier Man (sorry, don't know how to do a link) is good for larger men...they have exclusive sizes on brands like Reebok and Adidas and Farah in trousers. Also footwear up to a size 13 or 14 and wider fittings too.
Or there's John Banks, again superb for bigger sizes. I'm sure there are others too that I haven't heard of.
Might be good for getting Christmas presents in early for the big guy in your life.0 -
This thread is an absolute godsend, like the OP I'm over the size 24, and it can be difficult to get size 28+

Found this enlightening article about Karl Largerfeld...who I am now boycotting (yeah that'll show him) ....do seem to remember though he was a LOT larger himself onetime....
Are we likely to see more 'real' models strut their stuff on the catwalk? Not if Karl Lagerfeld has his way.
"No one wants to see curvy women," the German fashion designer was quoted as saying on news website Focus.
"You've got fat mothers with their bags of chips sitting in front of the television and saying that thin models are ugly," he added.
Lagerfeld's comments came after the popular German women's magazine Brigitte announced that they would be using real women in favour of skinny professional models for their photo shoots.
Fashion is about "dreams and illusions", Lagerfeld said, dismissing as "absurd" the idea that Brigitte magazine would use real women in favour of professional models on its pages.
Andreas Lebert, Brigitte's editor, said he was fed up of "fattening up girls with Photoshop" and decided to use images of real women after readers complained about over "protruding bones" of models they could not identify with.
Lagerfeld's comments come at a time when many designers, magazine editors and model agents are trying to combat the unhealthy size zero image, which many experts believe encourages eating disorders and poor body image in young women.
The fashion industry's obsession with skinny models recently saw Ralph Lauren apologise after Photoshopping a model so badly that her head appeared bigger than her hips.0 -

I got some interesting stuff there, in the sales. Prices are ...erm... astronomical, but quality is very good, and lines are unique so you don't look like an 'Evans Clone'.0 -
No probs Miss, it happens.
Sorry if we reacted in this way, but it's extremely frustrating for a large lady to go into shops (real or virtual) and unable to find her size.0 -
Hi I'm looking for a new ladies watch (preferably with a red strap) and am struggling to find one with a long enough strap to go round my wrist (approx 8inches), do any of you have any suggestions where I might find a mid-priced one? I've looked on Amazon but most of the descriptions say 'standard length' which I'm pretty sure doesn't fit me!
Thanks in advance x0 -

This is a difficult one...
Evans do large sized bracelets, necklaces, rings etc (very nice ones, quite unusual, people always ask me where I've bought mine). But I've never seen a watch.
I don't wear one so I've never looked.0 -
