    Morning

Need to get my bottom in gear for some shopping today. A winter coat, a sweater, a cardigan, pinstripe knee high socks, stripy socks, new knickers, elbow length formal gloves and some black&white platform shoes are all on my list :)

I loved the asymmetric coats at Joe Brown but they only go to 18. I need a 26/28 depending on the store. Does anyone know where I might be able to get one? Preferably streamlined and asymmetric, I don't want to add any bulk. And warm, of course!

    Thanks :)

    Update!

I finally found the perfect bra for those low cut tops at Ann Summers of all places!

Destiny Black/Red Balconette Bra £26.00 - Doesn't slip off the shoulders either and very comfy when worn all evening in a warm pub.

The Joe Brown coat didn't fit well so I'm sticking with last year's winter coat.

A friend from Australia introduced me to sockhop and is sending me 3 pairs of socks from the curvy range. The socks all have a high wool % which makes me :j

Still have a long list of things I'd like and guess what I discovered? Oxfam second hand shop online! They have plus sizes too but the search and filter thing is dodgy. I've used google to search and so far, it looks promising. Free delivery too. Has anyone bought off them?

    Couldn't find it either.
I can see now it's actually an ebay shop, with not great feedback. They also have a shop in Liverpool.

Love those stripey socks! What a shame they don't ship overseas.

Nowadays less than 99.8% on ebay is not great, and they have several comments about sending the wrong stuff, running out of items, and worst of all poor quality.
Also most of what they sell is not exclusive, mostly stuff that I've seen around before.

(by no means one of the worst sellers, but I'm not sure their stuff cannot be found cheaper and/or from someone more reliable).

I agree, a lot of the stuff can be found else where. There are some palazzo trusers on there that are cheaper at Yours. I think its very difficult buying clothes from ebay anyway. Fit is so important and returning things an unneccessary hassle.

After talking to Snap_Ant I've decided to go and look for some things at the QVC outlet shop and am very excited as it sounds as though they are in my (very limited) price range.

I agree.... it's so difficult to find socks in larger sizes. Even the ones from Evans (pop sox) are not that large
  • Hello ladies, Has anyyone tried buying wide fit shoes from New Look. I'm just wondering how they compare to Evans or The Big Shoe Boutique? I usually buy size 9 in a D-E width
    thanks in advance

So I'm guessing, as yours are coming from Oz GoToGal that sockshop don't do them here? What a shame and how short sighted of them.
