Has anyone used Curevty before now?

I am a bit dissappointed in them to be honest. I placed my first order on Weds (In the hope that it would be delivered for Friday, night out!) upgrading the postage to first class recorded. Top didnt turn up. Anyway, its arrived this morning..

This is what I have ordered (which NOW is NOT available in my size :()

    http://www.curvety.com/P/Plus_Size_Clothes_Fashion_Tops_in_Large_Sizes_Womens_Clothing_in_Big_Sizes-%281308%29.aspx

And this is what I have been sent:

    http://www.curvety.com/P/Plus_Size_Clothes_Ladies_Fashion_Separates_in_Large_Sizes_Big_Size_Trendy_Tops-%281297%29.aspx

Now have to find the time to go to the post office and return the item, and re-arrange for another one to be sent out. Rather frustrated :(

Anyone else had bad experience with them? x

I've used them a few times and my only bad experience was when I ordered something which turned out to be unsuitable, and it took them over 2 weeks to refund me, which I thought was unacceptable - although they do state it as standard in their T&C's. (And it was an evening dress, so not just a few pounds I was waiting for, but over £100).

    Hi Ladies,
I would like some advice please! We've been engaged a while and think it's about time we got on with it and tied the knot! Money has been the issue holding us back, but realising we are never going to have thousands spare for a wedding, I am investigating a realistic cost. Where have people bought wedding dresses on a budget? Am currently thinking Ebay, as have seen some nice ones. A shop to go and look in would be nice though, although I have no idea who caters for larger sizes. Sorry to ramble, hope someone can advise.
    Thanks
Still looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???
  • Lots of wedding dress shops cater for larger sizes, ring a few up and ask. The shop I used did have large sizes amongst their samples and the ones that were smaller, well she kind of 'made' them fit so I had an idea of what they would look like.

The dress I got was a 'Forever Yours' who are an American company and they go up to a size 30. They are also reasonably priced, my dress was absolutely beautiful and cost £425 which may sound like a lot but compared to a lot of wedding dresses, it was a bargain.

I got mine at a local shop and though smaller than I am now still needed a larger size. I did not buy though, just hired. It cost me £90 and that included all alterations to fit me perfectly.

I know many people prefer to have their own dress, and if money allowed would have probably bought one too. However it would simply be sitting in my loft doing nothing now so I guess it would have been a very expensive one use item.

I word of advice. People have commented about Chinese wedding dresses and advised to stay away from them (if anyone has had a good experience they may want to share it?)

    Hiya ladies,
    Am after some help :)
I am going on my hols in early September, and I havent worn a swimming costume since I was alot younger (And alot slimmer lol). I am quite large on top, being a 40f, and need to find myself a decent costume that holds up the boobs (And belly at the same time lol)! I was talking to my friend today who is also quite top heavy and she suggested getting a bikini top (one in the style of a bra) and wearing that under a costume (Obv in the same colour so it wont look daft!).
Do you lovelies have any suggestions?
    xx

Why dont you try an underwired tankini?
Debenhams Gorgeous range does a 40F, or Evans or Bhs often has some lovely ones with a skirted bottom.
