I wonder if the rise in fees will put people off buying/selling there??

It's a shame when that happens. The best local one to us has quite high pitch fee but no parking/entrance fee. It's alright though as the place is always packed :) I'm sure last time I went as a seller I took a lot of tat but still came away with £50! Mind you I never go with a view to making profit, I see it as a de-cluttering exercise with the cash being a bonus. I go with 'I don't want this stuff so it doesn't matter how much it sells for'. Any remnant stuff gets dropped off at the charity shop on the way home so I don't have it lurking. :j

    Hi all,

Havent been on here for a while! Recent Chazza shop/Jumble purchases:

x10 CD Albums for 20p each...fairly recent titles as well, Radio One Live Lounge etc...

x2 High & Mighty black suit trousers - the OH is a strapping 6"5 so struggles to get affordable long trousers - £2.99 each - he was dead pleased with these for work!

Planet of the Apes limited edition DVD box set & "ape head" statue/casing £7

    Framed Cherub bathroom print £1.50

Pair of current season ASOS skinny fit jeans £2.50

My bargain of the month (admitedly from the local market and not a CS!) Was a floral trouser jump/playsuit I had intended to wear myself. It was a bargain at only £1.

Labelled size Medium and unfortunately just slightly too small for me, I decided to pop it on eBay... nearly had a heart attack when I noticed so many watchers and bids upto £13!! I need to get back down the market to buy some more...!!

Also, for the poster asking about London booties, I've read there is a new one due to start in Leytonstone, East London on 29th May. (Pastures Field, E11) I dont know too much about it myself, but there is a facebook group that the organisers may keep updated if you require more info? Hope this helps!

I've not posted for a while as I havn't found any bargains plus local car boots have been rained off, but have been following all of your bargains!

Did however get some lovely things from my nan who was having a clear out

    * 1940-1960 dressmaking patterns, loads of them!
    * Original 1950 aprons, some handmade by my great gran others brought
    * 2 handmade patchwork quilts ..Very happy with these! :D
    * Lots and lots of boxed laced hankerchiefs

Plus lots of bits of material I can use for bunting.

Hope to pop to car boot tomorrow but the weathers terrible here today, so I wont get my hopes up!

Yesterday I got a really cute bag, black vinyl with a big gold shooting star on it for £1. Not branded or anything but it's a good size and I love it. I also got an enormous book that was on my 'to read' list for £2. Today I got a dressmaking pattern for an apron for 25p.
