This morning, absolutely nothing! Weather was nice though, so not a total waste!

Last week my mum bought a care bear for 10p, she was umming and ahhing whether to stick it on ebay or keep hold of it, but in the end she put it on ebay and it sold for over £50, she was very chuffed.

    Todays finds:

2 Rainbows outfits and rainbows bag- 4.00
    Playmobil stables 10.00
Playmobil go cart and touring van 5.00
    Mothercare swimming float vest 1.00

And that was all i picked up, car boot sale was a good size even though the weather wasn't great but most of it was a load of rubbish.

I did manage to pick up a playmobil pirate ship from the tip in the week for 1.00 :D

    Today i got:

    5 frames-25p

    a purple vase
    a roll on scent
    a brown teapot
    a small swirly vase
a 'cuomo Lucky Store' frame with a picture of a bird etched in veneer wood( It has a 'certificate of guarantee' at the back and 'certificate of warranty....not sure if it is worth something yet.,...can anybody help me?)

    those 5 items for £1

Also got 2 large big golden flower pictures for £3
    a suede canvas-50p
2 really nice pictures in a frame(one of them is like this but more pinkier)-£1
a small oriental themed thing for display like a room divider-10p

unfortunately i ummmed and aahed over a lovely shabby chic baroque style mirror like this one which was quite heavy but damaged in some places..it was only £1:mad::mad:can't beleive i turned it down-wanted to paint it white or black but I thought it was too small, also turned down a shabby chic style towel holder new in box.

Overall, I had a good haul, hope everyone else had a good time!

    New here but ..

Last week got vintage oval mirror with inlay (very heavy) for £2 CS

This week got framed completed (large) cross stitch of otters by pond - £2.85 - loads of work in there.

Went to Car Boot sale - don't manage many of these as I am off adventuring - Sea kayaking & Mountain Biking!

    Got:

Stunning vibrant orange top with fuschia pink trim BNWT (£75) - paid £2 (EBaying)

Bolero Jacket - German designer (£2) (Ebaying)

    Leather bikers gloves (50p)

Tog 24 gauntlet gloves (keeping for winter camping/expeditioning)

Bird & Flower identification books (50p each - keeping)

BUT - I am so aware of how things can go pear shaped. Last year I did a car boot and took an oil painting I had bought at auction 25 years ago - dutch boy feeding rabbit.

Asked £20 for it! Dropped it to £15 - had one offer of £10 but decided not to sell. Put it on Ebay for £10 a few weeks ago - went for £86!
