I started my first treasure hunt of this year last weekend, went to a local table top sale & car boot sale.

    Got loads of bargains:

For £22, I got various brands of expensive skincare products. They are: Origins Perfect World eye serum, Origins Perfect World face serum, L’Occitane hand cream, L’Occitane brightening Serum, Utima II Face Mask, 2 x travel size Dior wrinkle crème. All are new & sealed, in full size. All these would cost around £170.

£1.50 for 3 DVD’s. One of the dvds I got for boyfriend has got 4 films in (A fu-kung collections with Bruce Lee's & Jackie Chan’s films). So there are 6 films to watch.

£6 for 11 tops mostly from Topshop & River Island & one each from Orion London & Firetrap. All in good styles (not plain design or basic jerseys) & in good condition. The lady was selling her daughter’s clothes for 50p a piece! I was the first person looking at her stuff & got the best pieces! ;)

£1 for 4 bottles of herbs & spice. All sealed & new. Cost £1 - £1.60 each in supermarket.

So I spent about £30 on a big pile of stuff. I'm a happy bunny!

what a haul Goanmad-I've been working all weekend so I havent been able to do any car boots-sometimes a girl needs her sleep!! My Mom & Dad are in Birmingham-what car boot sales do you go to, are they near Birmingham?? (fingers crossed!)

    Hi Monkeypuzzle!

I tend to go to the Cannock ones (not too much of a trip for you) but the Hams Hall one on a saturday is also really good.
  • Thanks goanmad, you had a fab haul there, the London car boot sales aren't as good, but I know Hams Hall so I'll try and go next time I'm on a visit!

Went to a boot fair near my in laws on sunday and I must say it wasnt as good as the one near my house! But I did manage to get my son some Disney Cars cars (if that makes sense lol) I got a bundle of 4 for 10p!! All in all spent about a £2 on his cars and then the bargan of the day was a booster seat for meal times (the type that straps to the dining room chair) for £1!!
Roll on Sunday so I can go to the one near my house! I was really looking for a small plastic table and chair for my son so hopefully I can track one down there!

Good luck everyone and Thank you to all posters xx

well i'm back from visiting my mum and my childhood home...very glad to be back. no finds at all in the CS's except I sorted out mums garage and i found a heap of old vintage tins, an old porcelain plate stand and some vintage ephemera for my crafting and best of all a brass post office tag for my keyring to remind me of my dad :).

Everyone has been finding sooo many bargains...well done, I am jealous.
