    Hi all

Been great catching up reading about all your 'finds' :D

Our car boot sale last Sunday was just mad with so many people pushing and shoving, the good weather must have been to blame. Just got a few books and some gardening stuff....nothing exciting.

Had better luck with the CS's....rummaged through a 50p basket of old purses and wallets and found a brand new M & S Autograph purse at the bottom and when I got it home and had a proper look there was a 50p coin in one of the compartments! Feel a little guilty for getting it for nothing, so to speak, but it will make up for the times I've been overcharged in there and felt too mean to point it out to them! Also found a lovely new Per Una skirt, with the £45 price tag on in my fave colour for £2.50 and a white T shirt for 50p. Happy days :p

    Debt-free and Proud!
Ohh Im glad this thread is still going, I got a really good bargain i wanted to share. Bank holiday weekend just gone I picked up an Estee Laudee gift set including perfume and body lotion in a box for £5. This set sells for about £40 in the shop and it had not been used so i was well excited. Thats my mums birthday present sorted.
Debt free since July 2013! Woo hoo! The bank actually laughed when I said I have come in to cancel my overdraft.

Just come across this thread again - time to post last weeks bargains :)
A rare console game for £1 - Worth around £30 but will be keeping to play it, as I've wanted it for absolutely ages!
Two massive wooden elephants for £7 - great for decorating around the house, I love african style objects like these.
A huge box of vintage board games (around 10) for £2! having checked them, some are complete, and some need a few parts, but I'm willing to part with a few pounds more to make these gems up.
An unused original furby (still in box, wired in) for £2
Boxed 4.3 megapixel fujifilm camera, all working, £2.
Can't wait for tomorrow, if it's as good as the last one, then I'll be ecstatic!

That's absolutely crazy! It states in the listing the bought price was £40... but it sold for £67?! Wowzers.

I can only think it was a popular item that sold fast and was never restocked. That combined with the current trend for retro style clothing, I guess! I'm still shocked by the end price though. Great bargain on your part! :)

I think the title was very good lots of key words people search for and its well described. All the specifications are filled in to. Might be worth adding a suitable (but cheap) brooch to it if you intend selling it otherwise its just very plain. The fabric angora might be what pushed up price as well.

But if you look, there were only 4 bids so it's not as if loads of people were battling it out and pushing up the price. Weird!
