Hi everyone, I'm a long time lurker and was looking forward to being able to add my own bargains after our local boot sale started yesterday.

But went yesterday and I was so disapointed , I think the organisers have changed because it is usually well organised and brilliant but it was chaos and full of traders :(. Hopefully it was just first day teething troubles and will be back to been brilliant soon.

I'm hoping someone might be able to help me with some boot sale reccomendations.

It's my birthday next Sunday and my lovely husband has offered to take me for a weekend away to find my boot sale fix, probably going to go either Bristol area or Midlands but don't have a clue where the best booties are, can anybody reccommend any big boot sales for either Saturday 24th or Sunday 25th?

    Thanks in advance :)

Stafford Common is usually pretty good too if you're headind that way on the Sunday

I did my 1st car boot sale on sunday. sold some my old commodore games, and some computer games that didnt sell on ebay, old out of contract mobiles and a digital camera and some old games and stuff. had a good day enjoyed meeting the punters and having a natter with them and got rid of the stuff i cant shift on ebay! ok im regretting flogging the commodore games so cheap now but at least theyre gone! made 100 quid so did alright.

me and the other OH are addicted to chazzing (thank you for the name) now when he's off work we get in the car and goto various towns for a good chaz day lol! i often see named bags but scared of buying a knock off so dont buy em. i stick to console games and collectables.

goan i read with interest your blog post on the house maids diary, really interesting insite and quite tragic too. wish i could find sommat like that!
    happy hunting folks
