Had a lovely day off work today and the sun has been out, It actually feels like spring!
Took my nan on a charity shop morning, and got some great bargains..
2 embroidered tableclothes with gorgeous crochet trim £ 2.00
4 china side plates 60p
and a 5 piece tea set, £5, a present from my nan :A
My brothers moving house so donated some of his things to me incl, brand new hip flask, golf things for OH and a bottle of red wine..yum! I feel I have done very well today!
Back to work tomorrow, but have a charity shop trip planned for Sat.Living as simply as we can

You'll have to hope that you don't really really like all this posh expensive stuff as the chances of finding it again probably won't be high & poundland specials may not seem the same afterwards.
Indeed, maybe i will just look at it so not to use it up so quickly, couldn't believe it when i just see it sitting there...there were loads of folk in the shop but ob no one realised what it was...so i was very lucky, i reckon it will last quite a while if i only use it for special occassions xx0 -
I bought dd a new Next denim white jacket from cs yesterday ...Not sure how long it will stay white for thow ..lol ...but was a bargain at only £3.00 so Im pleased .

:Tyes, this week was the first good boot sale this year (first time the sun has come out:T.
So i picked up:
A wheely bug (ride on toy) 5.00
Lola pushchair and car seat 35.00
Jane pushchair and car seat 45.00
A pair of next jeans 1.00
Another pair of Next jeans 1.00
Designer girls dress 2.00
Fat face girls top 1.00
I could have bought a lot more but the pushchairs filled my car up [sad], there was so much there today, i could have gone back for 2nds.
Lets hope the weather is nice next weekend so i can go to another.0 -
Yesterday I sold at our local car boot. This time we stayed until the very end - usually pack up and go about 12. It got to 1pm and there was only a few people still about. We looked around and someone had just left all the stuff they hadn't sold and drove off so I went to investigate and got loads of clothes and shoes for free. Then my friend said it's worth going through the bins so we did and got more stuff - including some brand new baby clothes.
So when we ended up bringing back more than what we had taken!
So shocked at what people throw away!My daughters are my world0 -
