I got a fab wicker bag today, looks like a square hamper box, but a bag.....if that makes sense? ! ha! Anyway, it was 50p and I love it! Really liked a floral picture too, and it was only £2, but put it back after reminding myself Im going on holiday next month and should really be saving.. but if its still there saturday, its mine! :D

Goanmad, have a wonderful holiday! x

    Hi Guys…

Just come into work with this in my email inbox… I know where I’m off to tonight!

If anybody can accessibly reach East London tonight for 7:30, then I’d highly recommend this place.
It is a vintage warehouse rather than a charity shop…hidden behind a row of shops on a cobbled street in Stepney. As it’s local to me I love having a wander around in there, but unfortunately it is also usually priced at rip off vintage shop prices too so rarely make any purchases - but their jumbles are great!

£10 for a medium bag, £20 for a large bag and you can stuff it to your hearts content!

Great for finding real leather belts, gloves, and bags – they also have loads of vintage Levi shorts/skirts

Hope someone finds this helpful, and that I may possibly bump into other MSEs tonight! Have a read below for more info. xx

    PS. Goanmad, enjoy your trip!

Well I've just returned from my £20 all you can get in a carrier sack vintage jumble (mentioned in previous post) and I am so glad I went! I sure loaded my bag to the brim!

    I got:

x2 leather jackets, one tan and one black
    x3 beige macs
x1 suede fringe sleeve jacket, gutted it is a little too small for me! :(
    1x long black waterproof mac
2x high waisted stonewash denim shorts
floral dress which I'm going to attempt to customise into a jumpsuit!
    4 shirts for the OH
    Silver beaded clutch
    Tan satchel
    x2 scarfs
Black furry russian style hat (not sure where I'm going to have the opportunity to wear this yet but it's fab!)
7 belts, 5 of which are real leather
and a pair of really cool 70's oversized shades.

I was talking to a worker in the shop, and they are holding another jumble evening in 2 months time. If anyone's interested, search the "East End Thrift Store" on Google or Facebook to keep in the loop for future events.

Have a lovely bank holiday weekend all, and Happy Easter!

Yes, thanks indeed I-Owe-You! I've added them on Facebook and am hoping their next jumble sale coincides with my trip to London in a few months. Exciting!

I'm really hoping the charity shops are open tomorrow (or today, rather!)... anyone have an idea if they are?
