I can only imagine he was a jilted boyfriend taking some revenge by selling all that lovely stuff so cheap, or he picked up the wrong boxes that morning and his other half is going to kill him later :rotfl:
Thing is, when I started dating my now wife I bought her perfume on a couple of occasions, but she's never used it. Seven years on and we're married and it's still in the packaging. She doesn't wear perfume. (She does wear deoderant though obviously ;-))
Everyone's different I guess.
(though I do prefer the jilted boyfriend story! :rotfl:)As of 24/11/2020

Stuck in potty training dd this week so haven't managed out- bah!
Managed to get a load of stuff for ds last week though-Tomy starlight dreamshow for 50p in Shelter, a bag of Next and Gap clothing for £3.50 (15 items) from the Salvation Army, and 2 dungaree outfits (1 Next, 1 Disney) for 99p each from Marie Curie.
Love charity shops for kids clothing! Just a shame not many around here seem to stock much.0 -

These sound like great finds. My mum gave me a vintage leather belt she had in the late 60's branded Ibex. I used to wear it all the time - must dig it out again. Went to my first car boot last week and got a few bits:
2 old looking framed oil paintings £2 each
Pair of shoe trees 25p
Christmas decorations (can never be too prepared!) 50p
Sealed 1000 piece jigsaw 20p
Ikea lamp 50p
M&S footglove shoes brand new were £35 - £1
Best of all was a pineapple shaped ice bucket. Have wanted one for a while and they are approx £20 on ebay. The guy selling it looked like a bit of a dealer and I was presuming it would be a fair few quid as it was still there after a couple of hours. Thought i'd ask him anyway - he rolled his eyes - I presumed he'd been asked the price a hundred times already - then said £1. I nearly choked then grabbed it quick!!!
Hopefully loads more car boots on over the Easter weekend. Hooray!0
