Do you mean "Roland Cartier"? A once-popular brand rumoured to be having a make-over and dragged into the 21st century.

I actually found a jumble sale this morning! :j Very quiet but some decent pickings - I've uploaded a few pictures on my blog if anyone's interested.

    Finds included:
1980's Mansfield cashmere and wool swing coat with snake epaulettes
BHS cashmere jacket with labels attached (For my Mum)
Sweater Club long-line cable cardi with brocade lining (Mum, again)
1960's purple frilled man's dress shirt - very Austin Powers!
    Vintage Sheepskin hat
Vintage men's tartan wool braided dressing gown with original belt
    1960's vinyl Kelly bag
    Monet simulated pearls
    1980's beaded choker
    Leopard-print Alice band
    Sunflower hair clip
Kit to knit your own beanie hat
1970's dagger collar blouse in floral print
Per Una sundress (For a friend)
    Fancy waistcoat
Ravel metallic flipflops (magazine freebie, still wrapped, mine have worn out)
    1970's paisley scarf

I should really have been Xmas shopping but I had far more fun rummaging through other people's tat!

Not the biggest bargain of all time but today I got some Killah black cord flares with lovely heart shaped pockets with the tags still on (just under £70) for £7.50 from a charity shop. They are long enough for me too at 37" which rarely happens in a CS!
  • Got a few bargains today! Went chazzing in my own town, dont often go because the prices are mega high!

Got a brand new with tags Jane Shilton rose print scarf 2pounds (which will be wrapped up for my mum)
    Topshop floral blouse 2pounds
    H&M floral cardigan 2pounds
Heart shaped silver quilted bag 50p

    Loving my florals atm ;)

One last day of chazzing before Christmas next Tuesday! Cant wait!

You haven't given any description of the tea set. So can only suggest doing an ebay or general internet search thezib

Have you tried doing a Google search thezib? One of the first hits gives a little info about the company

yes,i have done some searching on the internet,
but so far i have very little information.
have seen some on ebay, but with rather wide range of prices.
and with the bids, its kind of hard to get an accurate price of what its worth.
i'll put up a picture of the set in a few days if i'll be allowed to.

Best bargain EVER was one of those orange wet and dry Vax cleaners RRP about £200 which my b/f bought for £1 at a boot fair.... coming a close second, I bought a 1930 washbasin with victorian style taps in immaculate condition for £3.50, still using it today!
