I have read through this thread with great interest. You all do so well. Last Friday I found a 'Autograph' M&S white blouse in their outlet store reduced from £25 to 99p. When I took it to the till and they had adjusted the VAT I got it for 97p. Today I found a Gerry Webber jumper near new condition and in my colour and style for £6.50 in a CS.Mortgage and Debt free but need to increase savings pot. :think:0

Morning all, guess where I've been?
:rotfl:
Today's bargains are a pair of ladies grey patent Fiore Collection shoes (£4.49), brand new, never been worn. A Next faux suede black coat (£5.00), like new. A black long length skirt (I need one !) for £3.49 and two necklaces for 99p each. :j I did see a very old purse/handbag which had white beading all over it and an old clasp opening but it was a bit stained so I left it (probably a BIG mistake ! hahah)
I shall soon have to start making room in my wardrobe .
Going to buy the newspaper this Thursday to see if I can find any jumble sales/car boots that I'm not aware of. Used to love Jumble sales but since we moved down here, they're few and far between.
Right off to do the housework, catch up with you all later xx:jWeight loss to date 1st 11.5lb :j0 -
Thanks dazzle, they are pretty special!
I realise I have not posted my biggest bargain ever... a Vivienne Westwood grey wool knee length skirt. Brand new with tags and spare button still attached, from her Red label range. £2.50 from a local charity shop, in the children's section.:j It is beautiful, the lining has her logo on it and a really great cut. Having looked online, I think they retail for over £150 new.
I did however have my wallet stolen there whilst browsing, so had to put it aside for another day, and have all of the hassle of replacing cards, and the wallet had sentimental value to me.
It was a little too small for me, but I could not pass up such a bargain and now I can just about do it up I am hoping to wear it soon. Every time I see it hanging up in my wardrobe it makes me very happy! goes to show even MSErs can afford to have designer clothes in their wardrobe.Mortgage [STRIKE]16/03/2011: £190K 01/01/2017: £107,729.65 [/STRIKE] 01/07/2017: £95,979.89

couldnt beleave my luck today... got a hallmarked silver art nouveau photo frame for 1.50, having found a similar bargain last week only to be told i couldnt have it that cheap by the assistant i didnt let go this time just pointed to the price.0

Good for you insisting on that price. If its priced that way they can't refuse to sell it to you. Legally I'm not sure, but if it were my staff they would have to sell it to you, its their silly fault for pricing it wrong. It sounds lovely. Not been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/1550

Oh, that's lovely, Gaz! Well done.:T
We braved the wind for a boot sale this morning. Not many traders around, bless 'em! Very muddy conditions but lots of people around hoping for a bargain.
Managed to pick up:
Vintage grey floral long handled umbrella 50p
New black leggings, lace trim footless tights and some grey woolly tights 90p
Oscar de la Renta leather toilet bag (with a hook to hang it up - ideal for travelling)
Vintage ostrich skin clutch bag (Made in England)
1970's era leather mini satchel with lots of compartments - all three bags were £1
Retro Car Radio 50p
Beaten brass bangle 50p
Feather duster (the cats love it) 50p
1980's black leather riding boots (sadly not my size but my friend will love them) £1
The weather forecast looks dreadful for the weekend so I'm hoping for some jumble sales.0 -
Hi - what a great thread! ( recommended by Soolin ) I have several charity shops around me ( must be a deprived area ! ) and one of them sells all mens shirts and t shirts for 50p and jeans/trousers 150p ( pound sign does not work on this kboard - just comes up # )
which is good - but what names should I be looking out for to try and resell at Ebay - any lists about ?
thanks in advanceAs Martin says - please be nice - there is no such thing as a stupid question !0 -
