Jorsha and Nyc - wow! Great finds.

Jorsha - are they Indonesian? I bought something similiar out there and they are definately to my taste. I love tribal art.

Nyc - Glad you managed to upload the photos. I especially love the Russell and Bromley bag. I had those exact Viva boots back in the 1980's - arghhhh!

Two jumble sales down, one to go (if the shed delivery turns up on time). I'll upload some pictures on the blog later but the best find so far this morning has to be a shoe box containing 35 different essential oils, all sealed and unused for £2!

  • NycLovesVintage and Jorsha, lovely to see all your pictures, keep them coming. Those boots look great.

That's very kind, Penny and I adore the jacket.

I spotted a lovely East kaftan yesterday but it was sadly too big.

My jumble sale finds are in a heap in the kitchen floor at the mo (with one very contented cat sleeping in the middle). Some of the goodies today were:

Vintage 1950's curtains in a groovy retro print
    Red patent vintage shoes
    1980's leather slouch boots
    Vintage Van-Dal loafers
    1960's cream raffia handbag
3 old advertising tins (including a 1930's tobacco tin which BF loves)
Black leather jacket (to cut up, I've a project in mind)
    Unworn Ralph Lauren sweater
Navy blue trenchcoat with detachable lining
    PVC snakeskin bustier
1960's Bri-nylon nightie with tags attached (straight out of a Carry On film)
M&S 1980's electric blue batwing jumper (fashionable again)
    Vintage mustard satin fringed tablecloth
2 Bohemian silk shawls with fringing
A vintage silk scarf printed with "Collection Venice Simplon Orient Express, Paris"

I really don't think I'll be booting tomorrow so this is my fix until next week!

Recent charity shop purchase - 50s faux fur cape, although I think it used to be a jacket with sleeves that have been removed. £3.95
