I'm back
Had a lovely morning, cup of coffee in Mr S and then hit the charity shops at 9. I got a nice little 'haul' this morning consisting of ....- 2 Schleich Elfen figures, brand new, still in boxes that I shall wrap up for DD (brand new retail is about £20 each I think - I paid £3:T).
- Brand new in box and tissue paper and wrappings Liz Claiborne purse - £2.50
- 2 scarves (one Next, one M&Co) - £1 each
- Pair of Per Una 3/4 length smart grey trousers - £4 (look brand new)
- Peter Storm raincoat (I need a new one badly !) - £12
Right off to pack for the weekend, hope everyone else has managed to find some goodies today?:jWeight loss to date 1st 11.5lb :j0 -

Not been much in the way of covetable bargains in the chazza shops in North Yorks lately
Did manage to get a nice Karen Millen black leather belt with silver bits on it today for £1 though
And have had a bit of luck on EBay...got a lovely Victorian ring (Christmas prezzy to myself) at a knock down price.

Hello!
I picked up 4 books at 20p each earlier plus the most amazing 1980's leather shoe and bag set by Renata of Italy (his shoes start from £180 ). I can't believe the shoes were a 39.5, my perfect size - well worth the £9.95 price tag!
I've posted pictures on my blog if you're interested.
Happy hunting this weekend.

SERIOUS shoe and bag envy here! I never find shoes to fit me, I'm a size 9 standard fit and most big shoes are also wide. And usually made for the cross-dressing market!
Nothing exciting but I did get a New Look tunic t-shirt with a sort of gothy butterfly print on it for £1.80 from the CS where I work today.0 -

I've got a friend with the same problem. You've got the choice of sensible and orthopedic or red patent with 9inch see thru' heels!
No jumble sales tomorrow but there's a "community sale" whatever that may beand a furniture and bric-a-brac event plus about 15 Xmas fairs. There's a programme on ITV at 8pm about recycling furniture so I may watch that to get some inspiration.
