Hello everyone,
Went to my first car boot sale in ages today, was an indoor one and whilst not the best (mostly consisted of kids toys and suspicious DVDs!) I got myself:
-5 Marian Keyes books - £1 (20p each hurrah)
-1 giant vintage Adidas bag/holdall (to use when flying down to see fiance in Kent) - £1
- A Me to You bear for my Fiance's mum who collects them - £4.
So not very much but i'm still chuffed!0 -

Does anyone have any advice on how to save energy going round a cb? I'm probably going to one tomorrow afternoon, I've got chronic fatigue and last time I did it I was out of it for four days. I was thinking about taking my little wheely suitcase instead of bags, not sure if I'll look silly but I don't really care. Any other tips?
Don't overstretch yourself by trying to carry heavy things or too much. The wheelly trolley sounds like a good idea, as does the stick/seat thing. Also, there are tables and chairs set up near the bacon sarnie van, you could give yourself a rest there. Just take it steady and don't try lug a microwave back with you!0 -
ames
take a trolly with you to carry your booty in, all the people there will be too busy bargain hunting to notice.
i dont know about where you go, but i know the ones i goto the footing is normaly either large stones or grass doesnt make it any easier.
i wish you all the best though and hope youre able to enjoy booting as much as possible.
i must admit though i like it best when my partners with me cos he carries all the stuff and never grumbles or charges lol.Sell it sell it! Big market for them and they usually go for around £50 ish.
Or sell it to me for a tenner!!lol.
thanks for the offer but i think im going to keep it lol...0 -
The jacket I bought the other day sold for just over £27 on Ebay :j
. I'm keeping mine, I like it too much to sell it.
Hope the weather is good tomorrow (forecast not looking it though) - wanted to pop to the charity shops in town while I was running a few other errands.
Ames I'd get a trolley if I was allowed one . Kids are threatening me with divorce if I buy one :rotfl:.
Haven't been to a car boot for a while as the weather just hasn't been good enough ...... maybe if we all keep our fingers crossed for next weekend I might get to go.
Right off to wash up after roast dinner (our dishwasher broke this morning .... eeeeekkkkkk !:() Don't think I'm likely to find one of those in a charity shop  lol :rotfl:.
Catch up with you all later in the week xx:jWeight loss to date 1st 11.5lb :j0 -
