A very pretty parian china/fine porcelain bowl that, with my dodgy eyes I glanced at and saw a mark that I thought was Belleek green mark for a very reasonable fiver. (The mark would date it to around the 1960's; I should recognise Belleek as I have a few pieces and there's lots in the family, with my dad's side coming from Fermanagh.) I was very embarrassed when I got it home and read it properly to find it was made by Coalport instead - though two mins googling tells me it was made in the 1890's to 1920's, so it has lost the mark I was hoping for, gained several decades in age and is still the same thing in itself that I saw and fancied, so I'm happy enough!
I also picked up at the same stall a lovely Dartington 'ripple' vase with its original sticker for a princely £4 - you'd hardly get a cheapo mass-produced one in the supermarket for that, so overall quite a good deal altogether!Reason for edit? Can spell, can't type!0 -
Thought this thread would be busy given the good weather recently. I got a lightweight regatta jacket to keep in the boot of the car for £2.00.0

Picked up a new Easiyo yoghurt maker with 2x1L storage jars for £5 at our local CBS yesterday.
Still in original packaging with instructions etc. I'm well chuffed as I've been after one for ages to keep my yoghurt-loving kids happy. We're going to have great fun trying all all the various flavours!

Fabulous M&S pure wool, italian made suit in grey for husband. Fit him like a glove, appeared not to be worn, had spare buttons in the pocket still sealed in an envelope and the pockets still sewn up.
The nearest I could find on the M&S website was circa £200 and I bought it £3!!Saving money right, left and centre0 -

Hoping to go to a local one again tomorrow, it's a bit smaller but I might find a couple of bits.0 -
