Hubby picked up an old looking walking stick for £2.50, it looked like a repro horn handle and a copper band round the top. Got it home and gave it clean turned out to be the genuine thing. Horn handle and 9 carat gold band round the top. Once we'd cleaned it we could read the inscription and it's a retirement present to the foreman of a mill in 1913! Took it to an antique dealer friend of mine and it's worth £75!! Didn't sell it as hubby loves it.
An EAST leather handbag for £1.50.

Was very brave yesterday and went to car boot sale to sell my junk (sorry, valuable items!!). Very very happy as cleared £120.00!! And it was totally just stuff lying around the house that I really didn't want or wear any more. Did find some people quite aggressive when haggling which only made me more determined to stick to my guns! Gave away some stuff at the end to a lovely pensioner who was looking for stuff for her granddaughter to wear and have just taken the rest to the charity shop today - job done!!0
