I always done carboots growing up with mum and dad but all the local ones stopped so I haven't been in years. Went to Blochairn on Sunday and got a few bargains. Nice George coat for £1 and a rather expensive looking cushion for £1. I love poodles and the cushion has a really detailed poodle and Eiffel Tower that is really detailed with some beads. I know a few people who would pay alot more than £1 for it so I am very very happy!! :j Needless to say I'm going again this weekend.

I'd love to see a picture if that perfume bottle, in case I ever came across one like it on my travels!

Search 'perfume bottle' through completed listings on ebay. Blinking heck!!! Anything from 99p not sold (plenty of those) to well into the hundreds of pounds. The obvious ones are Lalique, anything with a silver collar/stopper, but there's plenty on there that just look basically quite cute that seem to go for ££££! £9.99 isn't that rare a price to achieve, so I think I'll definitely be keeping my eyes peeled for anything pretty and slightly unusual. Thanks, to the poster who fed this back.:)

I've had a BRILLIANT couple of car boot bargain days! Saw a tiny boot sale in a local park yeasterday (no more than 20 cars) and stopped, despite Mrs B's protests.......and she got LOADS!! There was a lady selling clothes in her size for 20p an item, Mrs B spent £4! It's all good quality too - Animal, New Look, Dotty P's, Gas, Topshop - she's a happy bunny. Got a nice star shaped glass bowl too. I've been to the big car boot this morning after dropping Mrs at work and got:
3 t shirts for little nephew (Bench, M&S, Lego Star Wars) - 50p each. They'll go up for his birthday.
Spiderman torch, again for nephew's birthday - 50p
    Spiderman puzzle globe, nephew's birthday - 50p
Rory the Tiger cushion - 50p. Think I'll use that as a Christmas stocking filler for Kiddo - she's 14 but Haven cuddly toys are a bit of a family tradition at Christmas!
3 brand new Winnie the Pooh canvasses - £2. They're going to be my little niece's Christmas pressy. My sister'll be chuffed to bits, and I'm happy cos they'll be light to post (they live in Spain)
New Look black shorts for Kiddo - 50p
Topshop top for Kiddo - 50p
Miss Selfridge top for Mrs B - 50p
A grey coat, really nice, for Mrs B - £1
And finally.....A Sanctuary gift set, body wash, body lotion, body scrub and bath foam - £1. It's supposed to be for M-in-law for Christmas, but bet any money that Mrs will nick it!!

So, all in all a very good couple of days! Nothing for me, as per bl00dy usual though!

I picked up a nice kitschy 50s/60s flower print by Vernon Ward today in the charity shop I'm volunteering in. It was out for sale and priced at £2 - bargain I think! The last owner was a smoker so the frame needs a bit of attention but I'm really pleased with it.

You do see the worst of people working in a charity shop though, they take the price off things and then tell you what it should cost, and there's quite a bit of thieving going on.

On the lighter side, I saw a bloke go into the changing room with a ladies top this morning...but it can't have been a good fit as he didn't buy it. :D

Well I hit a car boot sale on Sunday and tickled pink with my bargains!

    I got:

Weight Watchers Kitchen scales (Old points) - £2
Weight Watchers Shopping and Eating out guide – brand new (Old points) £1
Weight Watchers pedometer (old points) £1
Tetleys “Gaffer” Cookie Jar - £2.50
Homepride Mug from Safeways – 50p
Roary Jigsaw £1 which when we for it home realised it was brand new!
Thomas The Tank Engine figure for 25p

I have the WW stuff already but the books are newer than mine so will be keeping them. I lost 5 stone on the old points and I am doing them again. The scales that I have cost me £40 from a meeting!!

My little boy is very hjappy with his jigsaw as he was getting bored of the ones he had!

I bought 2 handbags and paid 20p each at a car boot sale yesterday. When I looked inside one I found 50p in change so in theory they paid me 10p to take them away! :D
