I bought a gorgeous 1950s blue hat at the bootsale this weekend. The last few weekends have been really good at my local one. Also got some nice vintage costume jewellery for my ever expanding huge collection. Think I better clear some out before I run out of space for the new stuff

lol - at the 10p to take the bags away! fab find x 2!!!

Car boot the other Sat (with Hubby) hope I haven't already posted about them!
    - Brand New Animal bag - the style I like (hard to find in the size I like) which this one was £4
Kick and Play Piano in a box with instructions £2 .had been looking for one for ages....
Kick and Play Piano no box £1.50........ like buses they all came along at once - didn't want to leave this one incase the other was broken (it wasn't) wil give one to my friend when her LO is in a cot.
Yoga Mat - Blown box must have been stored somewhere damp 50p. took a chance opened it up inside brand new shrink wrapped and undamaged mat.

Booty today (on my own) very small but I was in the area so seemed rude not to go:-
10 x Dolmio advertising pens £1 there nice quality and we never have pens in this house thanks to my 12 year old - am hiding these!
1 x trolly keyring 1xbottle opener keyring (to replace my very old very worn one) 25p each
Bruin Activity Table - MINT condition all bits there £3.50..........Toyrus price £29.99
2 x Jigsaws for young children 1xfruit with textures 1 x parts of the body £1 each - to be donated to the tots group I run.
Cot Activity centre ELC (same one my 12 year old had) 50p need a clean but is perfect.........saw one at the saturday boot but the lady wanted far to much for it 50p is fab.

..... I did have one disaster - bought a giraffe teether rattle today and shoved it in the steam sterilizer for quickness when I got home as I was really busy ... didn't notice that not all of it was hard plastic - It had chewy plastic bits ........ well lets just say it was bendy as well as chewy when it came out the microwave and a very odd shape so poor old Mr Giraffe has been consigned to the bin!

No perfume bottles either - what a find the other poster had - wish I could find one of them too!
Debt free May 2016 (without the support of MSE forum users that would never have been possible - thank you all)
  • Loving catching up on all your bargains!

I went to a carboot on Sunday and bought:-

    H&M Navy skirt - £1
Lovely chunky knit cardi (I've been after one for ages as our house is Frrrrrrrrrreeeeezing in the winter!) - £1
Lots of Mr Men books for DS -£1
Scooby doo costume for DS - £2
Purple slouchy bag with huge corsage on front - 50p - I'd been admiring a colleague's bag this week which was very similar so was well chuffed with this one! :j

DD also got herself some troll dolls.

There were some excellent quality items this week - usually it's 90% tat, 10% decent stuff but it was definitely the other way round this time! I am selling at this one in two weeks, but probably won't be able to resist sneaking off for a quick look round:D
