Picked up an old garage in a box a couple of years ago and thought the kids might play with it but they were never interested it was too old and dusty and the box never even got opened.
The other day I was having a massive clearout and giving a load of boot sale stuff away on freecycle - someone was coming at 2pm to collect the lot. I saw this under the stairs and thought oh, that can go and put it in the pile. For some reason I decided to check there was nothing else in the box - when I opened it up there was a Dinky set in there from the 70's so I thought I'd keep it and put it on ebay.
Within half an hour of listing it I'd had 33 messages offering me £100 for it to... £1250!!!
