A brand new limited edition set of GHDs with the glitter roll mat and hairdryer for £40 was so chuffed as i really needed a new pair and this was more than i could have asked for0 -

One local CS has a new manager and the prices have suddenly gone seriously silly... like £20 for a rolled gold bracelet with some of the gold worn off, or £75 for a fox stole (the whole fox with head and paws, but the moths have been at the head!) But at another CS a few streets away I got a Liberty silk scarf in perfect condition. It's a classic design from the 1970s/1980s.
I've been looking on Ebay to get an idea of the value. Nothing quite the same, but discovered (to my delight) that a Varuna wool shawl identical to ine I got a couple of weeks ago is currently at 4 bids and £16 (I paid £1 for mine..). Evne better, a silk saure with an abstract design is at £25.98 and 6 bids. It was also £10 -
how about this for cheek.
i put my old ipods on ebay as spares or repairs. both not working.... sold em .. cheap buy it now to get rid of em... bloke sent me a message back... hes not happy cuz he cant repair one of em :S
of he's waiting for a refund, hope he's not holding his breath.
20 quid for 2 ipods. some people do like to try it on. and even if he cant repair em i think its worth the money just for the case.
sigh.

i dont think its fair to knock any charity for trying to make money.
it would be fair to have a go about paying expensive managers.
all they need is a few of the people who use this message board and they could get rid of the paid staff.
not had a good buy from a cs for ages and i dont mind they put all their best stuff on ebay, the local ones. and the chain ones have valuers. did get a troika perfume bottle from sue ryder once for 98p though lol0 -
The local big carboot nr us opened yesterday and it was full . They charge £9 per car and as i was doing one worked out they must for made at least 5000 alone on cars plus entrance fees.
How ever made £90 and then brought son a 8ft trampoline we saw advertised in the nxt stall so he is happy ..0 -
Bought a game of Twister for 50p from a CBS yesterday and its already repaid the investment amny times over in the screams of delight coming from my kids (plus some very unflattering photos of moi now appearing on Facebook!) - best bargain yet!

Had a good CB rummage this weekend - 2 x pirate duvet covers for £4 (youngest wants a pirate bedroom), 2 x roped together photo frames for my 'by the sea' porch when I get round to decorating for £2, Ralph Lauren hoody for a £1 for the youngest, a brand new with tags hoody for the youngest for £2 by the Children's Place, middle one got a load of Star Wars toys (think they were probably MacDonalds) for £1...and annoyingly (and for reasons beyond me), I let the Cath Kidston purse for £3 pass me by! Oh well, must have been counting my pennies!0

I needed some new dressy shoes for a forth coming wedding but did not want to spend a lot as I won't wear them much. I got a boxed pair of beautiful Ted Baker killer heels in a beigy colour that are perfect and very in atm for £8. I nearly snatched the stall holders hand off and beat a hasty retreat with my heart pounding like mad lol0
